Top University of Kentucky alumni playing currently pro basketball

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Wildcats players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. John Wall (6'4''-PG-90, graduated '10, plays pro in the NBA) led Washington Wizards to a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (19-14) 128-110 in the NBA on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Wall recorded a double-double by scoring 40 points and making 14 passes. He also added 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 steals in 42 minutes. The Washington Wizards have 13-21 record this season. It's Wall's ninth year with the team. Wall has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 8.9apg and 1.6spg.

   #2. Devin Booker (6'6''-SG-96, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) was the main contributor in a Phoenix Suns' victory against the New York Knicks (9-25) 128-110 in the NBA in Monday night's game. Booker was MVP of the game. He scored 38 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds. The Phoenix Suns have rather weak 8-26 record this season. It's Booker's fourth year with the team. Booker has very impressive stats this year 24.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.9apg and 1.1spg in 23 games he played so far.

   #3. Anthony Davis (6'10''-C-93, graduated '12, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the New Orleans Pelicans (15-19) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance the New Orleans Pelicans (15-19) were defeated 112-104 on the road by the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 20 rebounds. He also added 5 assists in 39 minutes. It's Davis' seventh season with the team. This year Davis has very high stats. He averages 28.1ppg, 12.6rpg, 4.7apg, 2.7bpg and 1.7spg.

   #4. Aaron Harrison (6'6''-SG-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Turkey) contributed to Galatasaray's victory against the league leader Fenerbahce (10-1) 84-74 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL on Sunday night. Harrison was MVP of the game. He scored 28 points (!!!) and added 4 passes. Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (6-4) is placed fifth in the BSL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Harrison has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.7apg and 1.5spg in 10 games.

   #5. De'Aaron Fox (6'4''-G-97, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Sacramento Kings (18-15) in their game last Wednesday. Despite Fox's very good performance the Sacramento Kings (18-15) were badly defeated 132-113 in Oklahoma City by the Thunder. He recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and making 12 passes. Fox also added 2 blocks in 37 minutes. This season Fox has very high stats. He averages 18.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 7.4apg and 1.6spg.

   #6. Jamal Murray (6'6''-F/G-97, graduated '16, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Denver Nuggets' victory against the Dallas Mavericks 126-118 in the NBA last Tuesday. Murray had a double-double by scoring 22 points and making 15 passes. He also added 7 rebounds. Murray has very impressive stats this year 17.6ppg, 4.5rpg and 5.0apg in 31 games.

   #7. Willie Cauley-Stein (7'0''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned De'Aaron Fox. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Cauley-Stein contributed to a Sacramento Kings' victory against the New Orleans Pelicans 122-117. He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 17 rebounds. Cauley-Stein also added and 3 steals in 35 minutes. This season Cauley-Stein has very high stats. He averages 13.7ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.2spg.

   #8. Kevin Knox II (6'9''-PF-99, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the New York Knicks (9-25) in their last game. Despite Knox II's very good performance the New York Knicks lost 107-114 in Atlanta to the Hawks. He was the second best scorer with 24 points. Knox II also added 6 rebounds. Knox II has very impressive stats this year 11.6ppg and 4.2rpg in 27 games.

   #9. Enes Kanter (6'11''-C-92, graduated '11, currently in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Kevin Knox II. However that was another game of his team in NBA which brought him to that list. Kanter, who plays in the NBA couldn't help the New York Knicks (9-25) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance the New York Knicks were defeated 110-99 in Indianapolis by the Indiana Pacers. Kanter recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 15 rebounds in 36 minutes. This season Kanter has very high stats. He averages 15.0ppg, 11.1rpg and 2.0apg.

   #10. Julius Randle (6'9''-F-94, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anthony Davis and both played together in the last NBA game. Randle couldn't help the New Orleans Pelicans (15-19) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the New Orleans Pelicans lost 104-112 in Los Angeles to the Lakers. Randle was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 8 rebounds. Randle has very impressive stats this year 19.3ppg, 9.4rpg and 2.7apg in 32 games.
