Best performed former The University of Texas players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Longhorns alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kevin Durant (6'9''-SF-88, graduated '07, plays pro in the NBA) was the major contributor in a 2-point Golden State Warriors' victory against the Los Angeles Clippers (19-14) 129-127 in the NBA last Sunday. He had a double-double by scoring 35 points and getting 12 rebounds. Durant also added 5 assists and 3 blocks in 38 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 23-11 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Durant has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.8ppg, 7.7rpg and 6.2apg in 33 games he played so far.

   #2. Jordan Hamilton (6'7''-F-90, graduated '11, plays in Italy) could not help Germani BR in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Hamilton's very good performance Germani BR was badly defeated 97-80 at home by the higher-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (#4). He was the top scorer with 30 points. Hamilton also added 7 rebounds. It's Hamilton's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.2spg.

   #3. Myles Turner (6'11''-C/F-96, graduated '15, currently in the NBA) led Indiana Pacers to a victory over the Washington Wizards (13-21) 105-89 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Turner had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 17 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 32 minutes. The Indiana Pacers have a solid 22-12 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Turner's fourth year with the team. Turner has very impressive stats this season 12.6ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.7apg and 2.9bpg in 32 games.

   #4. Experienced LaMarcus Aldridge (6'11''-F/C-85, graduated '06, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Philadelphia 76ers (22-12) crushing them 123-96 in the NBA last Monday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Aldridge also added 3 blocks. The San Antonio Spurs have 18-16 record this season. It's Aldridge's fourth year with the team. This year he has very high stats. Aldridge averages 18.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2bpg.

   #5. Jarrett Allen (6'11''-F-98, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) contributed to a 3-point Brooklyn Nets' victory against the Chicago Bulls (9-25) 96-93 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. Allen also added 3 assists in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Brooklyn Nets have 16-19 record this season. Allen has very impressive stats this year 12.0ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4bpg in 32 games.

   #6. J'Covan Brown (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '12, currently in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Lietkabelis crushing them 97-70 in the Basketball Champions League in Tuesday night's game. He scored 8 points and added 6 assists. This season Brown averages 9.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2spg.

   #7. P.J. Tucker (6'6''-F-85, graduated '06, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Washington Wizards 136-118 in the NBA last Wednesday. Tucker had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 34 minutes. Tucker has relatively good stats this year 8.2ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg in 32 games.

   #8. Dogus Balbay (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays in Turkey) managed to help Anadolu Efes Istanbul to win against the closely-ranked Tofas 93-81 in the Turkish BSL on Sunday night. He scored 5 points. This season Balbay averages 3.6ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.6spg.

   #9. D.J. Augustin (6'0''-PG-87, graduated '08, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Orlando Magic (14-18) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Orlando Magic was crushed 129-90 on the road by the San Antonio Spurs. Augustin was the top scorer with 17 points in 24 minutes. Augustin has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.8apg in 31 games.

   #10. Dexter Pittman (6'10''-C-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Japan) was the main contributor in a Fukuoka Rizing's victory against the sixth-ranked Shiga L-Stars 65-56 in the Japanese B League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Pittman scored 16 points, had 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks. This season Pittman has very high stats. He averages 19.3ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.8apg.
