We bring you last week's top former Eagles players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Michael Murray (6'5''-SF-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Portugal). He could not help Illiabum (2-9) to beat Benfica (5-7) in the Portuguese LPB. Murray scored 5 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 40 minutes. The bottom-ranked Illiabum lost 64-71 at home to the higher-ranked (#8) Benfica. Murray has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.7spg in 11 games he played so far.

   #2. Akeem Ellis (6'6''-G-90, graduated '12, plays in Canada) was the major contributor in a Kitchener-Waterloo Titans' victory against the London Lightning (5-6) 129-123 in the NBL Canada on Friday night. He scored 26 points (!!!), had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. The Kitchener-Waterloo Titans have 6-4 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Ellis' first year with the team. This season Ellis has very high stats. He averages 16.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.7spg.
