Top Indiana University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Hoosiers players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Thomas Bryant (6'10''-F-97, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA) was the major contributor in a 3-point Washington Wizards' victory against the Phoenix Suns (8-25) 149-146 in the NBA on Saturday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 13 rebounds in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Bryant's second season in pro basketball. The Washington Wizards have 13-20 record this season. It's Bryant's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 7.3ppg and 4.4rpg.

   #2. Victor Oladipo (6'4''-G-92, graduated '13, plays in the NBA) led Indiana Pacers to a victory over the New York Knicks (9-25) 110-99 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. Oladipo was MVP of the game. He recorded 26 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. The Indiana Pacers have a solid 21-12 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Oladipo has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.6ppg, 6.4rpg, 5.1apg and 1.6spg in 22 games he played so far. Oladipo is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #3. Jordan Hulls (5'11''-PG-90, graduated '13, currently in Germany) was the main contributor in a s.Oliver Wuerzburg's victory against the third-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (1-1) 96-87 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. Hulls was MVP of the game. He scored 27 points (!!!) (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 28 minutes. s.Oliver Wuerzburg (2-0) is placed first in group I. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Hulls has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.5apg.

   #4. James Blackmon (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Italy) could not help VL Pesaro (4-7) in their last game. Despite Blackmon's very good performance VL Pesaro was badly defeated 122-106 at home by the much higher-ranked (#3) Vanoli Cremona. He was the second best scorer with 27 points; not bad, considering it's only Blackmon's first season in pro basketball. It was VL Pesaro's third consecutive loss in a row. Blackmon has very impressive stats this year 21.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.8spg in 10 games.

   #5. O.G. Anunoby (6'7''-F-97, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-25) 126-110 in the NBA in Friday night's game. Anunoby scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 25-10 record this season. Anunoby has relatively good stats this year 8.0ppg and 2.9rpg.

   #6. Eric Gordon (6'4''-G-88, graduated '08, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Houston Rockets (17-15) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Houston Rockets were edged 101-99 on the road by the Miami Heat. Gordon was the second best scorer with 20 points. He also added 3 assists. Gordon has very impressive stats this year 15.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.0apg in 29 games.

   #7. Experienced Bracey Wright (6'3''-G-84, graduated '05, plays pro in Czech Republic) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked BK Kolin crushing them 107-79 in the Czech Republic NBL on Saturday night. He scored 18 points in 20 minutes. This season Wright averages 9.3ppg, 3.2rpg and 2.1apg.

   #8. Will Sheehey (6'7''-F-92, graduated '14, plays in Portugal) contributed to a FC Porto's victory against the tenth-ranked Vitoria SC 94-86 in the Portuguese LPB in Saturday night's game. Sheehey was MVP of the game. He recorded 31 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Sheehey has very impressive stats this year 17.2ppg, 5.9rpg and 3.0apg in nine games.

   #9. Yogi Ferrell (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '16, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to secure a victory for the Sacramento Kings (17-15) in their game last Monday. Despite Ferrell's very good performance the Sacramento Kings were crushed 132-105 in Minnesota by the Timberwolves. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Ferrell also added 3 passes in 24 minutes. This season Ferrell averages 5.5ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.6apg.

   #10. D.J. White (6'9''-F/C-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Turkey) helped Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul win their game against the closely-ranked Besiktas crushing them 83-57 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL on Saturday night. He scored 16 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists. White has relatively good stats this year 13.1ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.5apg in 11 games.
