Here is the weekly review of the top performing Trojans alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. James White (6'8''-F-93, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Bulgaria) led his Bulgarian team Beroe to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Teuta (4-2) crushing them 108-65 in the Balkan League on Tuesday night. He recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 23 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only White's third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Beroe (4-1) is placed first in the Balkan League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's White's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg and 4.7rpg.

   #2. Shane Edwards (6'7''-F-87, graduated '09, plays in Japan) led Kawasaki Brave Thunders to a 1-point victory against the second-ranked Toyama Grouses (15-11) 108-107 in the Japanese B League in Saturday night's game. He scored 14 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Central. Kawasaki Brave Thunders (15-11) are placed third. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Edwards' first season with the team. Edwards has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.7apg in 25 games he played so far.

   #3. Josh Hagins (6'1''-G-94, graduated '16, currently in Cyprus), who plays in the Cypriot Division A could not help Keravnos (7-0) in their game last Thursday. Despite Hagins' very good performance the league leader Keravnos was defeated 82-76 at home by the lower-ranked Apollon (#4). He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Hagins also added 5 rebounds and 6 assists in 34 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Hagins has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 3.9rpg, 5.3apg and 2.1spg.

   #4. Jalen Jackson (6'6''-G/F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Finland) led Helsinki Seagulls to a victory over the third-ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (9-6) 87-82 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. Jackson was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points and had 4 steals; not bad, considering it's only Jackson's second season in pro basketball. Helsinki Seagulls (6-8) is placed eighth in the Korisliiga. Jackson has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg in six games.

   #5. Lis Shoshi (6'11''-C-94, graduated '17, plays in Israel) was not able to help Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia in their game against Hapoel B/S (5-5) in the Israeli Winner League. Shoshi recorded 6 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in 25 minutes. Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia was badly defeated 87-70 on the road by the lower-ranked Hapoel B/S (#6). Shoshi has relatively good stats this season 10.7ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4bpg.

   #6. Will Neighbour (6'11''-F/C-90, graduated '14, currently in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for London CR in their game against Plymouth Raiders in the British BBL. He recorded 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team lost 77-84. Neighbour has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.4apg in eight games.

   #7. Experienced Brandon Freeman (6'3''-G-83, graduated '05, plays pro in Belgium) managed to help Gent Hawks to win against the closely-ranked Hubo Limburg United B team crushing them 80-52 in the Belgian Top Division I (second division) on Saturday night. He recorded 5 points in 5 minutes. This season Freeman averages 5.0ppg.

   #8. Kemy Osse (6'1''-PG-93, graduated '17, plays in Canada) couldn't help the Saint John Riptide in their game against the Moncton Magic in the NBL Canada. Osse scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). His team lost 86-93. This year Osse averages 5.0ppg in six games.

   #9. Leroy Isler (6'5''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in Spain) contributed to Villarrobledo's victory against the fourth-ranked Almansa 65-60 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) last Sunday. He scored only 3 points in 20 minutes. This season Isler averages 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.2apg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

   #10. Tramar Sutherland (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Canada) contributed to a Kitchener-Waterloo Titans' victory against the London Lightning 129-123 in the NBL Canada on Friday night. He scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This year Sutherland averages 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.2apg in six games.
