Here is the weekly review of the top performing Golden Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Dwayne Davis (6'5''-F-89, graduated '13, plays pro in Uruguay) led Aguada to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Defensor (9-4) 77-76 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Davis scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 32 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Atletico Aguada (3-9) is placed first in the LUB. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Davis' first season with the team. Davis has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 3.2apg.

#2. Norville Carey (6'7''-F-93, played in 2012-16, plays in France) could not help Union Poitiers Basket 86 (4-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Union Poitiers Basket 86 was crushed 111-85 on the road by the second-ranked Entente Orleans 45. Carey was the top scorer with 29 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!); quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was Union Poitiers Basket 86's third consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Carey averages 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.4spg in 11 games he played so far.

#3. Quinton Campbell (6'6''-G/F-93, graduated '17, currently in Lithuania), who plays in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) was not able to help Ereliai Mazeikiai (7-15) in their game last Saturday. Despite Campbell's good performance Ereliai Mazeikiai was badly defeated 97-79 in Sakiai by the much higher-ranked Vytis (#3). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Campbell also added 7 rebounds in 30 minutes. This season Campbell averages 6.9ppg and 4.1rpg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

#4. Experienced Gjio Bain (6'11''-C-85, graduated '08, plays pro in Japan) was not able to secure a victory for Iwate Big Bulls (5-19) in their last game. Despite Bain's very good performance Iwate Big Bulls were crushed 87-63 at home by the second-ranked Koshigaya Alphas. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. Bain also added 2 blocks. It's Bain's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.7ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.3bpg in 23 games.

#5. Jerrold Brooks (6'0''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays in France) couldn't help Caen (2-9) in their game last Saturday. Despite Brooks' very good performance Caen was defeated 96-81 in Vichy by the much higher-ranked JA Vichy (#3). He was the top scorer with 17 points. Brooks also added 4 assists in 39 minutes. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Brooks' first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 13.4ppg, 2.6rpg and 4.8apg.

#6. Maurice Bolden (6'10''-G/F-89, graduated '12, currently in Canada), who plays in the NBL Canada couldn't help the London Lightning (5-6) in their last game. Despite his good performance the London Lightning (#4) lost 123-129 in Kitchener to the higher-ranked (#3) -Waterloo Titans. Bolden scored 12 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists. He has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 2.6rpg and 4.8apg in eight games.
