We bring you last week's top former Golden Griffins players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kassius Robertson (6'3''-G-94, played in 2013-17, plays pro in Germany) could not help medi Bayreuth (4-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance medi Bayreuth lost 76-84 on the road to the second-ranked SIG Strasbourg. Robertson was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added 5 assists in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Robertson's first season in pro basketball. Robertson has relatively good stats this year 11.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.2apg in 11 games he played so far.

   #2. Billy Baron (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '14, plays in Serbia) led his Serbian team Crvena Zvezda to a victory over the closely-ranked Galatasaray 100-83 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Baron recorded 20 points and added 3 passes. Crvena Zvezda MTS Beogradis placed fourth in group G. It's Baron's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.2apg.

   #3. Jordan Heath (6'10''-F/C-91, graduated '14, currently in Hungary) was the main contributor in Alba's victory against the closely-ranked Levski Lukoil (0-2) crushing them 89-56 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Heath scored 22 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 24 minutes. Alba Fehervar (1-1) is placed third in group J. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Heath's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.8bpg in 10 games.

   #4. Frank Turner (5'10''-PG-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (1-10) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was defeated 82-70 in Ludwigsburg by the much higher-ranked EnBW (#7). Turner was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 5 assists. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Turner has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 5.7apg.

   #5. Kevin Bleeker (6'10''-C-93, graduated '16, plays in Holland) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Weert (2-12) 84-69 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday night. Bleeker recorded 6 points in 15 minutes. Landstede Basketbal Zwolle (14-0) is placed first in the Eredivisie. So far his team won all fourteen games in the Regular Season. This year Bleeker averages 5.8ppg and 4.5rpg in 11 games.

   #6. Julius Coles (6'4''-SG-89, graduated '12, currently in Qatar) was not able to secure a victory for Al Ahli in their game against Al Arabi in the Qatari D1. Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 10 rebounds. Coles also added 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Coles has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 19.5ppg, 9.5rpg, 5.0apg, 1.5bpg and 1.5spg.

   #7. Jan Grzelinski (5'11''-PG-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Poland) contributed to a Ksiezak Lowicz's victory against the seventh-ranked Pogon Prudnik 89-80 in the Polish 1Liga (second division) last Saturday. He scored 19 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 37 minutes. Grzelinski has very impressive stats this year 15.7ppg, 2.4rpg, 5.4apg and 1.7spg in 15 games.

   #8. Jamal Reynolds (6'4''-G-94, graduated '16, plays in Canada) helped Cape Breton Highlanders win their game against the Moncton Magic crushing them 114-84 in the NBL Canada on Friday night. He scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. This season Reynolds has very high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 2.4rpg, 5.4apg and 1.7spg. Reynolds has also Canadian nationality.
