We bring you last week's top former 49ers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Eugene Phelps (6'6''-F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in South Korea) could not help Seoul Samsung Thunders (7-19) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Seoul Samsung Thunders lost 73-81 on the road to the leading Mobis Phoebus. Phelps had a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 16 rebounds in 38 minutes. It was Seoul Samsung Thunders' fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Phelps' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Phelps averages 27.3ppg, 13.7rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3bpg in 12 games he played so far.

   #2. Larry Anderson (6'5''-G-89, graduated '12, plays in Finland) led Lapuan Korikobrat to a surprising victory over the fourth-ranked BC Nokia (9-9) 84-81 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Friday night. Anderson was MVP of the game. He scored 28 points (!!!), grabbed 5 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals. Lapuan Korikobrat (5-11) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the Korisliiga. This season Anderson has very high stats. He averages 20.9ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.4apg and 1.8spg.

   #3. Gabe Levin (6'7''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Israel) was the major contributor in a Bnei Hertzeliya's victory against the league outsider Maccabi Rishon (3-7) 74-67 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Levin's first season in pro basketball. Bnei Hertzeliya (4-6) is placed seventh in the Winner League. It's Levin's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg and 4.3rpg in four games.

   #4. Nick Faust (6'6''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Hungary) led Atomeromu to a victory against the 11th-ranked Alba (4-6) 88-74 in the Hungarian A Division last Saturday. He recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists; not bad, considering it's only Faust's third season in pro basketball. Atomeromu SE Paks (8-3) is placed fourth in the A Division. It's Faust's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.2apg and 1.8spg.

   #5. Casper Ware (5'10''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader Perth Wildcats (11-5) 82-65 in the Australian NBL on Monday night. He scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Melbourne United (10-5) is placed third in the NBL. Ware has very impressive stats this year 19.4ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.3apg in 15 games.

   #6. Kyle Richardson (6'7''-PF-91, played in 2009-13, currently in Japan) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Koshigaya Alphas in their game against Tokyo Excellence in the Japanese B League D3. Richardson scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. His team were defeated 91-79. This season Richardson has very high stats. He averages 21.1ppg, 10.5rpg and 2.3apg.
