Here is the weekly review of the top performing Miners alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Vincent Hunter (6'8''-PF-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Greece) was the major contributor in AEK's victory against the eighth-ranked CEZ Nymburk (2-7) 80-76 in the Basketball Champions League last Wednesday. He scored 18 points, had 8 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 3 blocks in 31 minutes. AEK Athens (8-1) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Hunter has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.1bpg and 1.4spg in nine games he played so far.

   #2. Julyan Stone (6'6''-PG-88, graduated '11, plays in Italy) managed to help Umana Reyer Venezia to win against the closely-ranked Hapoel Holon (6-3) 70-69 in the Basketball Champions League on Tuesday night. He scored only 4 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Umana Reyer Venezia (6-3) is placed second in the Basketball Champions League. This season Stone averages 4.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg.

   #3. Experienced Filiberto Rivera (6'3''-PG-82, graduated '05, currently in Mexico), who plays in the Mexican LNBP (second division) could not help Angeles (6-16) in their last game. Despite Rivera's very good performance the seventh-placed Angeles (6-16) was edged 93-91 at home by the higher-ranked (#3) Lenadores in the South group. He was the top scorer with 25 points. Rivera also added 4 boards, passed 5 assists and added 5 steals in 37 minutes. It was Angeles' fifth consecutive loss in a row. Rivera has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3spg in 15 games.

   #4. Jason Williams (6'7''-G/F-83, graduated '06, plays pro in France) led Chorale de Roanne Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked Entente Orleans 45 (8-3) 82-69 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Chorale de Roanne Basket (9-2) is placed first in the ProB. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Williams has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg.

   #5. Dominic Artis (6'4''-G-93, graduated '17, plays in Italy) was not able to help VL Pesaro in their game against Vanoli Cremona (7-3) in the Italian Serie A. Artis recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in 34 minutes. VL Pesaro was badly defeated 122-106 on their home court in Pesaro by the higher-ranked (#3) Vanoli Cremona. It was VL Pesaro's third consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Artis' first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 13.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.7apg and 2.3spg in 10 games.

   #6. John Bohannon (6'11''-F-91, graduated '14, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to a Maine Red Claws' victory against the Long Island Nets 110-101 in the NBA G League in Sunday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 14 rebounds. Bohannon also added 3 assists and 3 blocks. This season he averages 5.5ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.3bpg.

   #7. Lee Moore (6'4''-G-95, graduated '16, plays pro in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels in their game against Deutsche Bank Skyliners in the German BBL. Moore scored 9 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 30 minutes. His team lost 89-95. He has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg in 10 games.

   #8. Julian Washburn (6'8''-F-91, graduated '15, plays in the NBA G League) helped Austin Spurs edge the Iowa Wolves 118-116 in the NBA G League on Saturday night. He recorded 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Washburn has relatively good stats this season 11.2ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.4apg.
