We bring you last week's top former Bears players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Curtis Jerrells (6'1''-G-87, graduated '09, plays pro in Italy) was the major contributor in a 3-point AX Armani Exchange Milano's victory against the closely-ranked Panathinaikos (6-8) 86-83 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. He scored 15 points in 22 minutes. AX Armani Exchange Milano (7-7) is placed ninth in the Euroleague. Jerrells' team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Jerrells averages 5.8ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.4apg in 14 games he played so far.

   #2. Pierre Jackson (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '13, plays in China) could not help Beijing Dragons (5-17) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Jackson's very good performance Beijing Dragons were defeated 123-112 at home by the much higher-ranked Sturgeons (#8). He was the top scorer with 50 points. Jackson also added 6 rebounds and 9 assists. It's Jackson's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Jackson averages 41.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 9.3apg and 2.4spg.

   #3. Kenny Chery (5'11''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in France), who plays in the French ProA was not able to help Boulazac Basket Dordogne (6-7) in their last game. Despite Chery's very good performance Boulazac Basket Dordogne was edged 75-72 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Levallois. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Chery also added 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes. It's Chery's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 15.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg in 13 games.

   #4. Brady Heslip (6'2''-SG-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) led Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Mitteldeutscher BC (1-9) 95-89 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. Heslip scored 14 points and added 3 assists. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (4-6) is placed 12th in the BBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Heslip has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.1apg.

   #5. Isaiah Austin (7'1''-C-93, graduated '14, plays in China) contributed to a Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings' victory against the league outsider Gold Lions (4-18) 95-87 in the Chinese CBA last Tuesday. He had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 10 rebounds. Austin also added 2 blocks (made all of his five free throws) in 27 minutes. Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings (7-15) are placed 15th in the CBA. It's Austin's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 18.1ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.1apg and 2.0bpg in 13 games.

   #6. Allerik Freeman (6'3''-G-94, played in 2013-17, currently in Hungary) helped his Hungarian team Alba win their game against the closely-ranked Levski Lukoil crushing them 89-56 in the FIBA Europe Cup on Wednesday night. He scored 17 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists. This season Freeman has very high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.5apg.

   #7. Royce O'Neale (6'6''-SF-93, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Utah Jazz in their game against the Houston Rockets in the NBA. He scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. His team lost 97-102 in the NBA. This year O'Neale averages 4.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg in 31 games.

   #8. Cory Jefferson (6'9''-PF-90, graduated '14, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Delaware Blue Coats (6-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Delaware Blue Coats (#4) were defeated 110-95 in Frisco by the Texas Legends. Jefferson recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. This season he averages 9.1ppg and 4.8rpg.

   #9. Joseph Lual Acuil (7'0''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Israel) helped his Israeli team Hapoel Jerusalem win their game against the sixth-ranked Lietkabelis crushing them 97-70 in the Basketball Champions League on Tuesday night. Lual Acuil scored 6 points in only 7 minutes. This year he averages 3.0ppg in two games. Lual Acuil has also Sudanese nationality.

   #10. LaceDarius Dunn (6'4''-SG-87, graduated '11, plays pro in Turkey) helped Final Spor win their game against the league outsider Yalova Bld 77-72 in the Turkish TBL (second division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. This season Dunn has very high stats. He averages 23.3ppg, 6.6rpg, 4.2apg and 1.4spg.
