Here is the weekly review of the top performing Nittany Lions alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Jeffrey Brooks (6'8''-PF-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Italy) contributed to a 1-point AX Armani Exchange Milano's victory against the ninth-ranked Banco di Srd (4-6) 107-106 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 36 minutes. AX Armani Exchange Milano (10-0) is placed first in the Serie A. So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Brooks' first year with the team. This season Brooks averages 5.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.2apg in 10 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Italian.

#2. Donovon Jack (6'9''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Slovenia) was the major contributor in a Hopsi Polzela's victory against the eighth-ranked Rogaska (4-5) 85-69 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Saturday night. He scored 14 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jack's third season in pro basketball. Hopsi Polzela (4-6) is placed second in the Liga Nova KBM. Jack has relatively good stats this season 13.3ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.4bpg and 1.1spg.

#3. Sasa Borovnjak (6'9''-C-89, graduated '13, currently in Portugal) led FC Porto to a victory against the ninth-ranked Galitos-Barreiro (3-7) 97-88 in the Portuguese LPB in Wednesday night's game. Borovnjak had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in 25 minutes. FC Porto (6-4) is placed fifth in the LPB. Borovnjak has relatively good stats this year 14.1ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.1apg in 10 games.

#4. Shep Garner (6'2''-G-94, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA G League) could not help the Grand Rapids Drive (7-12) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Grand Rapids Drive (#4) was badly defeated 110-94 on the road by the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. Garner was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It's Garner's first season with the team. This year Garner averages 7.3ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.1apg.

#5. D.J. Newbill (6'4''-G-92, graduated '15, plays in Australia) was not able to help Cairns Taipans (1-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Cairns Taipans lost 78-89 in Auckland to the higher-ranked (#5) New Zealand Breakers. Newbill scored 10 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 36 minutes. It was Cairns Taipans' 11th consecutive loss in a row. Newbill has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg in 12 games.

#6. Brandon Taylor (6'7''-F-94, graduated '16, currently in Finland) contributed to a 1-point Vilpas' victory against the eighth-ranked Helsinki Seagulls 80-79 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Friday night's game. Taylor scored 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Taylor has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.1apg.

#7. Tim Frazier (6'1''-PG-90, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the New Orleans Pelicans in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. Frazier cannot count it as his best performance. He recorded only 2 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 24 minutes. His team lost 115-123 in the NBA. This year Frazier averages 4.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.5apg in 24 games.

#8. Tony Carr (6'5''-G-97, graduated '18, plays in Italy) couldn't help Fiat TO in their game against Openjobmetis VA in the Italian Serie A. He recorded 6 points and added 3 passes. His team was badly defeated by 17 points 77-60. Carr has relatively good stats this season 12.1ppg, 3.9rpg and 3.3apg.
