Here is the weekly review of the top performing Gaels alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Mickey McConnell (6'0''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays pro in France) led Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez to a 1-point victory against the 12th-ranked Le Mans (6-8) 91-90 in the French ProA in Sunday night's game. He recorded 19 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 44 minutes. Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez (9-5) is placed third in the ProA. McConnell has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 6.3apg and 1.2spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #2. Jock Landale (6'11''-C-95, graduated '18, plays in Serbia) led his Serbian team BC Partizan NiS Beograd to a victory over the closely-ranked FMP (5-7) 83-77 in a derby game in the ABA League last Saturday. Landale was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Landale's first season in pro basketball. BC Partizan NiS Beograd (6-5) is placed fifth in the ABA League. Landale has relatively good stats this season 11.8ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.8apg.

   #3. Brad Waldow (6'10''-C-91, graduated '15, currently in Japan) was the main contributor in a Nishinomiya Storks' victory against the sixth-ranked Aomori Watts (6-18) 77-58 in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Waldow had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Nishinomiya Storks (10-14) are placed third in Central group. It's Waldow's first season with the team. Waldow has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.5ppg, 11.3rpg, 2.3apg, 2.0bpg and 1.5spg in four games.

   #4. Experienced Daniel Kickert (6'10''-C/F-83, graduated '06, plays pro in Australia) contributed to a 1-point Sydney Kings' victory against the league leader Perth Wildcats (12-4) 98-97 in the Australian NBL in Friday night's game. He scored 18 points and added 3 assists (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sydney Kings (10-4) are placed second in the NBL. Kickert has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.3apg. He has also Australian passport.

   #5. Matthew Dellavedova (6'4''-G-90, graduated '13, plays in the NBA) could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-25) in their last game. Despite Dellavedova's good performance the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-25) were crushed 128-105 on the road by the Philadelphia 76ers. He recorded 13 points and added 7 assists in 22 minutes. Dellavedova has very impressive stats this year 11.2ppg, 2.2rpg and 4.8apg in six games.

   #6. Cullen Neal (6'4''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Poland) was the major contributor in a Rosa Radom's victory against the closely-ranked Miasto Szkla 85-68 in the Polish EBL on Friday night. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Neal has very high stats. He averages 19.6ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.4apg.

   #7. Patrick Mills (6'0''-PG-88, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves crushing them 124-98 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He scored 6 points, made 5 passes and 3 steals in 23 minutes. Mills has relatively good stats this year 9.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.8apg in 33 games.

   #8. Matt Hodgson (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays in Australia) was not able to help Brisbane Bullets (7-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Brisbane Bullets were defeated 101-91 in Findon by the lower-ranked Adelaide 36ers (#6). Hodgson recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists. This season Hodgson averages 9.6ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1bpg.

   #9. Stephen Holt (6'4''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in Kazakhstan) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Kalev/Cramo crushing them 105-78 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He scored 16 points and added 3 assists in a mere 19 minutes. It was his first game for Astana this season.

   #10. Ian O'Leary (6'7''-F-86, graduated '09, plays pro in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Montakit Fuenlabrada in their game against Antwerp Giants in the Basketball Champions League. He cannot count Tuesday's game as one of the best ones. O'Leary scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was crushed by 24 points 102-78. This season O'Leary averages 6.7ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg. He is a naturalized Irish.
