Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Buckeyes players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. D'Angelo Russell (6'5''-SG-96, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) led Brooklyn Nets to a victory over the Atlanta Hawks (8-23) 144-127 in the NBA last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Russell recorded 32 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists in 29 minutes. The Brooklyn Nets have 15-19 record this season. Russell has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.5ppg, 3.7rpg, 6.2apg and 1.1spg in 34 games he played so far.

   #2. Othello Hunter (6'8''-C-86, graduated '08, plays in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes (10-4) 102-84 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Hunter scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CSKA Moscow (10-4) is placed third in the Euroleague. His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Hunter averages 8.6ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg. He is a naturalized Liberian.

   #3. DeShaun Thomas (6'7''-PF-91, graduated '13, currently in Greece) was the major contributor in Panathinaikos' victory against the fifth-ranked PAOK (4-3) 93-83 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. He scored 14 points in a mere 19 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (8-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all eight games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg and 4.1rpg in seven games.

   #4. Mike Conley (6'1''-PG-87, graduated '07, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Memphis Grizzlies (16-16) in their last game on Friday. Despite Conley's very good performance the Memphis Grizzlies (16-16) were edged 102-99 on the road by the Sacramento Kings. He was the top scorer with 23 points. Conley also added 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists. It's Conley's 12th season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Conley averages 20.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 6.5apg and 1.2spg.

   #5. Evan Ravenel (6'9''-C/F-89, graduated '13, plays in Japan) was the main contributor in Fukushima's victory against the fourth-ranked Orange Vikings (9-15) 97-78 in the Japanese B2 League on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Ravenel scored 35 points (!!!) and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. Fukushima Firebonds (10-14) are placed fifth in East group. Ravenel has very impressive stats this year 21.1ppg, 9.1rpg and 3.0apg in 23 games.

   #6. Amir Williams (6'11''-C-92, graduated '15, currently in Uruguay), who plays in the Uruguayan LUB was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Hebraica (1-8) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Williams' very good performance Hebraica was defeated 92-83 in a derby game by the second-ranked Olimpia. He scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Williams has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg and 5.7rpg.

   #7. Jae'Sean Tate (6'4''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Belgium) was not able to secure a victory for Telenet Giants Antwerp (5-4) in their last game. Despite Tate's very good performance Telenet Giants Antwerp lost 79-86 in Brussels to the much lower-ranked (#255) Basic-Fit. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Tate also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 44 minutes. Tate has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.3apg in eight games.

   #8. Amedeo Della Valle (6'4''-SG-93, graduated '14, plays in Italy) contributed to a 1-point AX Armani Exchange Milano's victory against the ninth-ranked Banco di Srd 107-106 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. Della Valle recorded 7 points. This season Della Valle averages 8.1ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.1apg.

   #9. Evan Turner (6'7''-G/F-88, graduated '10, currently in the NBA) contributed to a Portland Trail Blazers' victory against the Toronto Raptors 128-122 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 21 minutes. Turner has relatively good stats this year 8.2ppg, 5.0rpg and 4.1apg in 31 games.

   #10. David Lighty (6'6''-G/F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in France) helped ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket win their game against the 14th-ranked Chalons-Reims 91-84 in the French ProA last Saturday. He recorded 6 points and added 4 assists. Lighty has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg.
