Here is the weekly review of the top performing Badgers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Nigel Hayes (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Turkey) could not help one of league's weakest teams Galatasaray in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Galatasaray was badly defeated 100-83 at home by the higher-ranked Crvena Zvezda (#4). Hayes was the top scorer with 30 points in 26 minutes. Hayes has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg.

   #2. Sam Dekker (6'9''-F-94, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) led Washington Wizards to an easy victory against the Los Angeles Lakers (19-13) 128-110 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. He recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. The Washington Wizards have 12-20 record this season. It's Dekker's first year with the team. Dekker has relatively good stats this year 7.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.5spg in six games he played so far.

   #3. Ryan Evans (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, currently in Denmark) led his Danish team Bakken to a victory over the closely-ranked Joensuun Kataja (1-1) 104-89 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. He was MVP of the game. Evans scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 26 minutes. Bakken Bears (1-1) is placed second in group L. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. This season Evans has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 6.3rpg and 3.3apg.

   #4. Jordan Taylor (6'2''-PG-89, graduated '12, plays pro in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Chalons-Reims (6-8) crushing them 106-83 in the French ProA on Friday night. He scored 13 points, grabbed 6 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls. Limoges CSP Elite (7-7) is placed ninth in the ProA. This year Taylor averages 4.3ppg, 1.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7spg in three games.

   #5. Experienced Marcus Landry (6'7''-F-85, graduated '09, plays in South Korea) was the main contributor in a 1-point KT Sonicboom's victory against one of league's weakest teams Goyang Orions (9-16) 91-90 in the South Korean KBL in Wednesday night's game. Landry was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 10 rebounds. Landry also added 5 assists in 40 minutes. KT Sonicboom (15-9) is placed second in the KBL. It's Landry's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Landry averages 23.0ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.3apg, 1.3bpg and 1.1spg.

   #6. Devin Harris (6'3''-PG-83, graduated '04, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Dallas Mavericks (15-15) in their last game. Despite Harris' good performance the Dallas Mavericks lost 121-125 on the road to the Los Angeles Clippers. He scored 13 points. This year Harris averages 6.9ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.4apg in 20 games.

   #7. Mike Bruesewitz (6'7''-F-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Lithuania) was not able to secure a victory for Prienu Skycop (4-10) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance Prienu Skycop was defeated 83-72 on their home court in Prienai by the second-ranked Neptunas. Bruesewitz was the top scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 30 minutes. Bruesewitz has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 5.3rpg and 2.5apg.

   #8. Frank Kaminsky (7'0''-F-93, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Charlotte Hornets (16-15) in their last game. Despite Kaminsky's good performance the Charlotte Hornets were edged 126-124 in New York City by the New York Knicks. He scored 11 points and blocked 2 blocks. This year Kaminsky averages 5.9ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.1apg in 19 games.

   #9. Vitto Brown (6'8''-F-95, graduated '17, currently in the NBA G League), who plays in the NBA G League couldn't help the Maine Red Claws (5-13) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance the Maine Red Claws (#5) were defeated 106-94 in Oshkosh by the Wisconsin Herd. Brown scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. He has relatively good stats this season 12.4ppg and 4.9rpg.

   #10. Jon Leuer (6'10''-F-89, graduated '11, plays pro in the NBA) couldn't help the Detroit Pistons in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. Leuer scored 8 points. His team were edged 107-104 in the NBA. This year he averages 4.4ppg and 2.3rpg in 17 games.
