Here is the weekly review of the top performing Spartans alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Bryn Forbes (6'3''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) led San Antonio Spurs to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves (14-18) crushing them 124-98 in the NBA on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Forbes scored 22 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The San Antonio Spurs have 18-15 record this season. Forbes has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 11.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.2apg.

   #2. Jaren Jackson Jr. (6'11''-F-99, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) could not help the Memphis Grizzlies (16-16) in their last game. Despite Jackson Jr.'s very good performance the Memphis Grizzlies (16-16) lost 92-99 on the road to the Portland Trail Blazers. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Jackson Jr. also added 5 rebounds and 3 blocks; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Jackson Jr. has very impressive stats this year 12.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8bpg in 31 games he played so far.

   #3. Miles Bridges (6'7''-G/F-98, graduated '18, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Charlotte Hornets (16-15) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Charlotte Hornets (16-15) were crushed 128-100 in Los Angeles by the Lakers. Bridges was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 2 shots in 28 minutes. Bridges has relatively good stats this season 7.6ppg and 3.8rpg.

   #4. Draymond Green (6'7''-F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Golden State Warriors (21-11) in their game against the Utah Jazz (16-17) in the NBA. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The Golden State Warriors (21-11) lost 103-108 in Salt Lake City to the Utah Jazz. It's Green's seventh season with the team. This year Green averages 6.5ppg, 8.1rpg, 6.8apg and 1.7spg in 18 games.

   #5. Branden Dawson (6'6''-F-93, graduated '15, plays in Mexico) couldn't help Soles de Mexicali in their game last Thursday. Despite his good performance the first-placed Soles de Mexicali was badly defeated 106-86 by the lower-ranked Lenadores (#3) in the South group. Dawson was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 32 minutes. It was his first game for Soles de Mexicali this season.

   #6. Kalin Lucas (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '11, currently in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Stockton Kings' victory against the Delaware Blue Coats crushing them 127-100 in the NBA G League last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Lucas recorded 20 points and added 6 passes. Lucas has very impressive stats this year 22.1ppg, 3.5rpg and 6.0apg in 15 games.

   #7. Eron Harris (6'3''-G-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Finland) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Pyrinto Tampere in their game against KTP-Basket in the Finnish Korisliiga. Despite his good performance last Saturday Harris scored 10 points and blocked 2 blocks in 29 minutes. Harris has relatively good stats this season 13.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #8. Experienced Andrew Naymick (6'10''-C-85, graduated '08, plays in Japan) managed to help Link Tochigi Brex in a victory against the leader Niigata Albirex 68-62 in the Japanese B League in Sunday night's game. Naymick scored 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This year Naymick averages 3.5ppg and 3.5rpg in two games.

   #9. Goran Suton (6'10''-F/C-85, graduated '09, currently in Spain) couldn't help Movistar Estudiantes Madrid in their game against Blusens Monbus in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Suton scored 7 points in 21 minutes. His team was defeated 91-81. This season Suton averages 5.3ppg and 3.0rpg. He has also Croatian citizenship.

   #10. Gavin Schilling (6'9''-C-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Germany) contributed to a 1-point Ratiopharm Ulm's victory against the closely-ranked SC Rasta Vechta 81-80 in the German BBL on Friday night. Schilling scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This year Schilling averages 0.8ppg and 1.4rpg in five games. He is a naturalized German.
