We bring you last week's top former Mavericks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Marquez Haynes (6'3''-PG-86, graduated '10, plays pro in Italy) was the major contributor in a 1-point Umana Reyer Venezia's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Holon (6-3) 70-69 in the Basketball Champions League in Tuesday night's game. He scored 16 points and added 4 assists in 29 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Umana Reyer Venezia (6-3) is placed second in the Basketball Champions League. Haynes has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.9apg in nine games he played so far. Haynes is a naturalized Georgian.

   #2. LaMarcus Reed (6'5''-G/F-88, graduated '12, plays in Cyprus) could not help Keravnos (7-0) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Reed's very good performance the league leader Keravnos was defeated 82-76 at home by the lower-ranked Apollon (#4). He was the top scorer with 23 points. Reed also added 8 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Reed's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.9ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.7apg.

   #3. Karol Gruszecki (6'4''-G/F-89, graduated '13, currently in Poland) led Polski Cukier Torun to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked GTK (4-6) 113-98 in the Polish EBL on Sunday night. He recorded 12 points and added 3 passes in 26 minutes. Polski Cukier Torun (8-2) is placed third in the EBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Gruszecki has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.8apg in 10 games.

   #4. Reger Dowell (6'1''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Georgia) led Dinamo Tbilisi to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Olimpi (3-3) 80-79 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Dowell scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Dinamo Tbilisi (4-2) is placed third in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Dowell's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg.

   #5. Johnny Hamilton (7'0''-C-94, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) led Grand Rapids Drive to a victory against the Raptors 905 Missisauga (13-6) 110-105 in the NBA G League last Friday. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 15 rebounds. Hamilton also added 3 assists and 4 blocks in 27 minutes. The Grand Rapids Drive has 7-12 record this season. It's Hamilton's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.4apg and 3.1bpg in 18 games.

   #6. Kevin Hervey (6'9''-F-96, graduated '18, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an Oklahoma City Blue's victory against the Grand Rapids Drive 106-98 in the NBA G League on Friday night. Hervey recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has relatively good stats this season 11.8ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.4apg and 3.1bpg.

   #7. Faith Pope (6'7''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Luxembourg) was not able to help Kordall Steelers (2-12) in their last game. Despite Pope's very good performance Kordall Steelers was crushed 108-80 on their home court in Rodange by the leading Etzella. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Pope also added 9 rebounds in 40 minutes. He has very impressive stats this year 22.4ppg and 6.8rpg in nine games.

   #8. Anthony Walker (6'9''-F-93, graduated '15, plays in the NBA G League) managed to help Stockton Kings to win against the Delaware Blue Coats crushing them 127-100 in the NBA G League last Thursday. He recorded only 2 points. This season Walker averages 3.4ppg and 3.1rpg.

   #9. Brandon Edwards (6'6''-F-91, graduated '14, currently in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim (4-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim lost 75-86 on the road to the higher-ranked (#8) Elitzur Ironi. Edwards had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 32 minutes. Edwards has very impressive stats this year 15.4ppg, 11.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.8bpg in 10 games.

   #10. Erick Neal (5'10''-PG-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Turkey) couldn't help Yeni Mamak (5-5) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Yeni Mamak was defeated 89-78 by the lower-ranked Artvin (#10). Neal was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 5 passes. This season Neal has very high stats. He averages 17.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 7.7apg and 1.3spg. Worth to mention Neal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
