Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Cowboys players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Larry Nance Jr. (6'8''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) was the major contributor in a 1-point Cleveland Cavaliers' victory against the Indiana Pacers (21-12) 92-91 in the NBA last Tuesday. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 16 rebounds. Nance Jr. also added 6 assists and 3 steals in 33 minutes. The Cleveland Cavaliers have not so impressive 8-25 record this season. Nance Jr. has relatively good stats this year 8.4ppg, 7.4rpg, 3.2apg and 1.3spg in 30 games he played so far.

   #2. Nathan Sobey (6'3''-G-90, graduated '14, plays in Australia) led Adelaide 36ers to a victory over the closely-ranked Bullets (7-7) 101-91 in the Australian NBL on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Sobey scored 24 points, had 6 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals. Adelaide 36ers (6-8) are placed fifth in the NBL. Sobey has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.4ppg, 4.8rpg and 4.6apg.

   #3. Hayden Dalton (6'9''-PF-96, graduated '18, currently in Denmark) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Vaerlose (1-7) crushing them 113-74 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Saturday night's game. Dalton had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Bakken Bears (11-1) is placed first in ProA group. This year Dalton averages 8.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in 11 games.

   #4. Luke Martinez (6'4''-G-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Mexico) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Huracanes (3-18) 84-68 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) last Saturday. Martinez scored 14 points, had 7 boards, passed 6 assists and added 4 steals. Soles de Mexicaliis placed first in South group. Martinez has relatively good stats this season 13.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6spg. He is a naturalized Mexican.

   #5. Francisco Cruz (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, plays in Spain) could not help one of league's weakest teams Montakit Fuenlabrada (4-5) in their last game. Despite his good performance Montakit Fuenlabrada was crushed 102-78 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Antwerp Giants. Cruz scored 11 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 25 minutes. It was Montakit Fuenlabrada's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Cruz has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.9apg in nine games.

   #6. Alan Herndon (6'9''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Turkey) was not able to help Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol in their game against Galatasaray in the Turkish BSL. Despite his good performance in Sunday night's game He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Herndon averages 8.0ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.3apg.

   #7. Derek Cooke Jr. (6'9''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Northern Arizona Suns in their game against the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League. Cooke Jr. scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. His team were crushed by 40 points 119-79 in the NBA G League. This year Cooke Jr. averages 6.8ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.6spg in 20 games.
