Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bluejays alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Maurice Watson (5'10''-PG-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Holland) was the major contributor in Leiden's victory against the closely-ranked Den Helder (5-5) crushing them 97-76 in the Dutch Eredivisie last Saturday. He recorded 21 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Watson's second season in pro basketball. Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden (10-1) is placed third in the Eredivisie. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Watson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 7.5apg and 2.3spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #2. Marcus Foster (6'3''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in South Korea) could not help DB Promy (11-14) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance DB Promy was badly defeated 91-75 at home by the leading Mobis Phoebus. Foster was the top scorer with 30 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. This season Foster has very high stats. He averages 25.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 4.2apg.

   #3. Experienced Kyle Korver (6'7''-F/G-81, graduated '03, currently in the NBA) led Utah Jazz to an easy victory against the Portland Trail Blazers (18-14) crushing them 120-90 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 26 minutes. The Utah Jazz has 16-17 record this season. It's Korver's first year with the team. Korver has relatively good stats this year 8.1ppg and 1.7rpg in 10 games.

   #4. James Milliken (6'3''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Georgia) led TSU-Hyundai to a victory against the eighth-ranked Batumi (2-4) 83-70 in the Georgian Superleague last Wednesday. He scored 18 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals; not bad, considering it's only Milliken's third season in pro basketball. TSU-Hyundai Tbilisi (5-1) is placed second in the Superleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Milliken's first year with the team. This season he has very high stats. Milliken averages 16.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 5.0apg.

   #5. Gregory Echenique (6'9''-C-90, played in 2009-13, plays in Japan) contributed to a Shimane Susanoo Magic's victory against the sixth-ranked Kagawa FA (6-17) 83-78 in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday night. Echenique had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 13 rebounds in 35 minutes. Shimane Susanoo Magic (16-8) is placed third in West group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Echenique's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 19.2ppg, 14.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.9bpg in 22 games.

   #6. Doug McDermott (6'8''-F-92, graduated '14, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Indiana Pacers (21-12) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite McDermott's good performance the Indiana Pacers were edged 92-91 on the road by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored 12 points. McDermott has relatively good stats this season 7.5ppg and 1.3rpg.

   #7. Jahenns Manigat (6'1''-G-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Hungary) helped DEAC win their game against the closely-ranked ZTE KK 91-72 in the Hungarian A Division last Friday. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. Manigat has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.6spg in nine games.

   #8. Anthony Tolliver (6'8''-C-85, graduated '07, plays in the NBA) helped Minnesota Timberwolves win their game against the Sacramento Kings crushing them 132-105 in the NBA on Monday night. He scored 9 points. This season Tolliver averages 4.7ppg and 2.2rpg.

   #9. Geoffrey Groselle (7'0''-C-93, graduated '16, currently in Kazakhstan) helped his Kazakhstan team Astana win their game against the ninth-ranked Kalev/Cramo crushing them 105-78 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. He scored 13 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 29 minutes. Groselle has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2bpg in nine games.

   #10. Cole Huff (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad (2-8) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Huff's very good performance Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad was defeated 85-73 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Ourense (#9). He was the top scorer with 21 points. Huff has relatively good stats this season 11.1ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.6spg.
