We bring you last week's top former Golden Bears players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Hind Ben-Abdelkader (5'8''-PG-95, graduated '14, plays pro in Turkey) led Hatay Bsb to a victory over the league leader Adana Basket (3-6) 83-70 in the Turkish KBSL in Sunday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Ben-Abdelkader scored 24 points, had 5 boards, passed 3 assists and added 4 steals (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in 40 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hatay Bsb (8-1) is placed second in the KBSL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Ben-Abdelkader has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages 21.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg in nine games she played so far.

   #2. Ashley Walker (6'2''-F/C-87, graduated '09, plays in Turkey) could not help Mersin Buyuksehir Belediye (3-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Walker's very good performance the league leader Mersin Buyuksehir Belediye was defeated 73-69 on the road by the second-ranked Ormanspor. She was the second best scorer with 19 points. Walker also added 5 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Walker has very high stats. She averages 16.7ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.0apg and 3.0spg. Walker is a naturalized Romanian.

   #3. Brittany Boyd (5'9''-G-93, graduated '15, currently in Turkey) faced previously mentioned Hind Ben-Abdelkader in the Turkish KSBL last game. Boyd, who plays in the Turkish KSBL was not able to help Adana Basket (3-6) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the league leader Adana Basket lost 70-83 at home to the second-ranked Hatay. Boyd was the second best scorer with 17 points. She also added 4 boards, passed 6 assists and added 6 steals in 26 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Boyd has very impressive stats this year 15.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 6.6apg and 3.7spg in nine games.

   #4. Talia Caldwell (6'2''-C-91, graduated '13, plays pro in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for Dynamo NR (2-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Caldwell's good performance Dynamo NR was crushed 82-61 on their home court in Novosibirsk by the higher-ranked MBA (#6). She recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 16 rebounds. Caldwell also added 3 assists. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. Caldwell has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 11.6rpg and 1.5apg.

   #5. Reshanda Gray (6'3''-F-93, graduated '15, plays in Hungary) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked NKE-Csata (5-4) crushing them 92-60 in the Hungarian A Division last Sunday. Gray scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 21 minutes. CMB Cargo UNI Gyor (5-5) is placed seventh in the A Division. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Gray has relatively good stats this year 14.1ppg and 9.8rpg in nine games.

   #6. Penina Davidson (6'3''-F-95, graduated '18, currently in Australia) managed to help Adelaide Link Lightning to win against the closely-ranked Canberra Capitals crushing them 93-73 in the Australian WNBL on Friday night. Davidson recorded 5 points. This season Davidson averages 4.3ppg and 3.1rpg.

   #7. Mikayla Cowling (6'2''-F-96, graduated '18, plays pro in France) couldn't help the league outsider La Glacerie (0-7) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the bottom-ranked La Glacerie was edged 73-70 on their home court in La Glacerie by the lower-ranked (#14) CFBB. Cowling was the top scorer with 26 points. She also added 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. Cowling has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.3spg in six games.
