We bring you last week's top former Hurricanes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Shane Larkin (5'11''-PG-92, graduated '13, plays pro in Turkey) could not help Anadolu Efes (10-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Anadolu Efes lost 81-88 on the road to the lower-ranked (#5) Olympiacos. Larkin was the second best scorer with 20 points in 30 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Larkin's first season with the team. This year Larkin averages 8.4ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.6apg in 12 games he played so far.

#2. DeQuan Jones (6'8''-F-90, graduated '12, plays in Israel) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Hapoel Unet Holon (6-3) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Jones' very good performance Hapoel Unet Holon was edged 70-69 in Venezia by the second-ranked Umana. He was the top scorer with 26 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Jones has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.1apg.

#3. Rion Brown (6'6''-SG-91, graduated '14, currently in Greece) led Promitheas to a victory over the 11th-ranked Aris (2-7) 71-61 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Brown scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 30 minutes. ASP Promitheas Patras (6-3) is placed fifth in the A1. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Brown has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.8apg in nine games.

#4. Tre McKinney-Jones (6'6''-G-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Japan) was the main contributor in a Chiba Jets' victory against the third-ranked Toyota Alvark (15-9) 76-71 in the Japanese B League in Sunday night's game. McKinney-Jones was MVP of the game. He scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group East. Chiba Jets (19-5) are placed second. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's McKinney-Jones' first season with the team. McKinney-Jones has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.8apg.

#5. Ivan Cruz Uceda (6'10''-C/F-91, graduated '16, plays in Spain) was the major contributor in a RETAbet BB's victory against the ninth-ranked Ourense (7-7) 73-60 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Sunday. Cruz Uceda recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. RETAbet Bilbao Basket (9-4) is placed fourth in the LEB Gold. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Cruz Uceda averages 7.5ppg and 4.5rpg in 13 games.

#6. Tonye Jekiri (7'0''-C-94, graduated '16, currently in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Gaziantep Basketbol in their game against Tofas in the Turkish BSL. He scored 6 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. His team was defeated 79-66. Jekiri has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg, 10.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg.

#7. Experienced Gary Hamilton (6'10''-C/F-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Japan) couldn't help Bambitious Nara (6-17) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Bambitious Nara was crushed 81-60 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Gunma in the West group. Hamilton had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 7 assists in 36 minutes. Hamilton has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 13.9rpg, 7.2apg and 1.3spg in 23 games.

#8. Julian Gamble (6'10''-F/C-89, graduated '13, plays in France) couldn't help JSF Nanterre in their game against CB Canarias in the Basketball Champions League.
