We bring you last week's top former Orangemen players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Rick Jackson (6'9''-F-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Uruguay) led Goes to a victory over the league outsider Sayago (0-15) 88-75 in the Uruguayan LUB in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Jackson scored 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 39 minutes. Goes Montevideo (18-10) is placed in the LUB. The Regular Season already ended. It's Jackson's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Jackson averages 18.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3bpg in three games he played so far.

   #2. Brandon Triche (6'4''-G-91, graduated '13, plays in Italy) was the main contributor in a Benfapp CdO's victory against the tenth-ranked Mens Sana 1871 (7-5) 93-78 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. Triche was MVP of the game. He scored 32 points (!!!), had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Benfapp Capo d'Orlando (7-5) is placed sixth in West group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Triche's first season with the team. This year Triche has very high stats. He averages 25.2ppg, 5.3rpg, 6.4apg and 1.8spg.

   #3. Experienced Demetris Nichols (6'8''-F-84, graduated '07, currently in Italy) contributed to a Sidigas AV's victory against the eighth-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (2-7) 82-76 in the Basketball Champions League on Wednesday night. He scored 12 points in 34 minutes. Sidigas Avellino (6-3) is placed second in the Basketball Champions League. Nichols has very impressive stats this year 15.3ppg, 6.8rpg and 3.0apg in nine games.

   #4. Jerami Grant (6'8''-F-94, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA) was the major contributor in an Oklahoma City Thunder's victory against the Sacramento Kings (16-15) 132-113 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Grant recorded 22 points. The Oklahoma City Thunder has a solid 20-10 record this season. This year Grant has very high stats. He averages 12.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2bpg.

   #5. John Gillon (6'0''-G-94, graduated '17, plays in the NBA G League) could not help the Erie Bay Hawks (8-8) in their last game. Despite Gillon's very good performance the Erie Bay Hawks (#3) were edged 101-100 on the road by the Santa Cruz Warriors. He was the top scorer with 32 points. Gillon also added 5 rebounds and 8 assists in 42 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Gillon has very impressive stats this year 16.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.3spg in 16 games.

   #6. Tyler Roberson (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, currently in Greece) managed to help AEK Athens to win against the ninth-ranked Lavrio 83-64 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Roberson averages 6.6ppg and 3.8rpg.

   #7. C.J. Fair (6'8''-F-91, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA G League) helped Windy City Bulls win their game against the Capital City Go-Go 111-103 in the NBA G League in Saturday night's game. Fair had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 18 rebounds. He also added 7 assists and 3 blocks in 41 minutes. Fair has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 3.2apg, 1.3bpg and 1.2spg in 20 games.

   #8. James Southerland (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, plays in Japan) was not able to help SeaHorses Mikawa (12-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed SeaHorses Mikawa was defeated 107-100 in Kyoto by the second-ranked Hannaryz in the Central group. Southerland scored 16 points and added 4 assists. This season Southerland has very high stats. He averages 18.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3bpg.

   #9. Andrew Rautins (6'4''-SG-86, graduated '10, currently in Turkey) helped Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul win their game against the closely-ranked Besiktas crushing them 83-57 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL on Saturday night. He scored 9 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes. Rautins has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.8apg in 11 games. He is a naturalized Canadian.

   #10. Andrew White III (6'7''-SF-93, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Maine Red Claws (5-12) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the Maine Red Claws (#5) were defeated 106-94 in Oshkosh by the Wisconsin Herd. White III scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season White III averages 7.4ppg and 2.6rpg.
