We bring you last week's top former Fighting Tigers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Anthony Randolph (6'11''-PF-89, graduated '08, plays pro in Spain) was the major contributor in a Real Madrid's victory against the seventh-ranked FC Barcelona (7-7) crushing them 92-65 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He scored 16 points in a mere 18 minutes. Real Madrid (11-2) is placed second in the Euroleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Randolph has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3apg in 13 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Slovenian.

   #2. Justin Hamilton (7'0''-C-90, graduated '12, plays in China) led Shougang Beijing Ducks to a victory over the 12th-ranked Jilin Tigers (9-11) 101-88 in the Chinese CBA on Tuesday night. He was MVP of the game. Hamilton recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 19 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 3 blocks. Shougang Beijing Ducks (17-5) are placed third in the CBA. It was his team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. Hamilton has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 22.0ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.4apg, 1.9bpg and 1.4spg. Hamilton is a naturalized Croatian.

   #3. Ben Simmons (6'10''-F-96, graduated '16, currently in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-24) crushing them 128-105 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. Simmons had a triple-double by scoring 22 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and passing 14 assists in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Philadelphia 76ers have a solid 21-12 record this season. Simmons has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 9.0rpg, 7.9apg and 1.4spg in 32 games.

   #4. Experienced Brandon Bass (6'8''-F-85, graduated '05, plays pro in China) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Jilin Tigers (9-11) 120-104 in the Chinese CBA last Saturday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 10 rebounds (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). Liaoning Flying Leopards (17-4) are placed second in the CBA. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This season Bass has very high stats. He averages 22.6ppg, 9.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1bpg.

   #5. Jordan Mickey (6'8''-F-94, graduated '15, plays in Russia) could not help one of league's weakest teams Khimki (4-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Khimki was badly defeated 79-63 on the road by the higher-ranked (#13) Maccabi T-A. Mickey was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 7 rebounds in 26 minutes. It was Khimki's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Mickey has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg and 4.9rpg in 13 games.

   #6. Johnny O'Bryant III (6'9''-C/F-93, graduated '14, currently in Israel), who plays in Israel was not able to help Maccabi T-A (4-9) in their last game on Thursday. Despite O'Bryant III's good performance Maccabi T-A was edged 81-79 at home by the higher-ranked Baskonia (#11). He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season O'Bryant III averages 9.0ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.3apg.

   #7. Garrett Temple (6'6''-G-86, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Memphis Grizzlies (16-15) in their last game. Despite Temple's very good performance the Memphis Grizzlies were edged 100-97 in Miami by the Heat. He scored 15 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 36 minutes. Temple has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg in 31 games.

   #8. Brandon Sampson (6'5''-G-97, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (9-9) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (#3) were defeated 110-100 in Uniondale by the Long Island Nets. Sampson was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 8 rebounds and 7 assists. This season Sampson has very high stats. He averages 17.4ppg, 4.5rpg and 3.7apg.

   #9. Marcus Thornton (6'4''-G-87, graduated '09, currently in the NBA G League), who plays in the NBA G League couldn't help the Grand Rapids Drive (7-11) in their last game. Despite Thornton's very good performance the Grand Rapids Drive (#4) was badly defeated 110-94 in Ontario by the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. He was the top scorer with 23 points. Thornton also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 30 minutes. Thornton has very impressive stats this year 16.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.3apg in four games.

   #10. Joshia Gray (6'1''-PG-93, graduated '16, plays pro in South Korea) was the main contributor in a 2-point LG Sakers' victory against the closely-ranked ET Land Elephants 86-84 in the South Korean KBL last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Gray recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. This season Gray has very high stats. He averages 18.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.3apg and 1.9spg.
