Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Runnin'Rebels players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced Michael Umeh (6'2''-PG-84, graduated '07, plays pro in Poland) led Polski Cukier Torun to a victory over the 12th-ranked GTK (4-6) 113-98 in the Polish EBL on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Umeh recorded 22 points and added 7 passes in 28 minutes. Polski Cukier Torun (8-2) is placed third in the EBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Umeh has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.5apg. He is a naturalized Nigerian.

#2. Christian Jones (6'7''-F-93, graduated '17, plays in Ukraine) was the major contributor in Khimik's victory against the closely-ranked Dnipro (9-5) 94-92 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Monday night's game. He scored 18 points, had 5 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jones' second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BK Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (10-4) is placed first in the Superleague. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Jones has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.1ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.7apg in 14 games he played so far.

#3. Derrick Jones Jr. (6'7''-F-97, graduated '16, currently in the NBA) contributed to a 2-point Miami Heat's victory against the Houston Rockets (16-15) 101-99 in the NBA last Thursday. He scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 27 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Jones Jr.'s third season in pro basketball. The Miami Heat has 14-16 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This season Jones Jr. averages 6.1ppg and 4.3rpg.

#4. Carlos Lopez-Sosa (6'10''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Mexico) could not help Angeles (6-15) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the seventh-placed Angeles (6-15) was edged 93-91 at home by the higher-ranked (#3) Lenadores in the South group. Lopez-Sosa was the second best scorer with 24 points. He also added 7 rebounds and made 3 blocks. It was Angeles' fifth consecutive loss in a row. It's Lopez-Sosa's first season with the team. Lopez-Sosa has very impressive stats this year 16.6ppg, 8.2rpg and 2.7apg in 19 games.

#5. Quintrell Thomas (6'8''-PF-90, graduated '13, plays in Israel) was not able to help Maccabi Hod Hasharon (2-8) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Maccabi Hod Hasharon was edged 74-72 on the road by the higher-ranked Elitzur Yavne (#10). Thomas recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 12 rebounds in 32 minutes. It's Thomas' first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Thomas averages 22.8ppg, 11.6rpg and 1.6bpg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

#6. Rashad Vaughn (6'6''-SG-96, graduated '15, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an easy victory against the Austin Spurs crushing them 137-110 in the NBA G League last Friday. He scored 21 points and had 3 steals. Vaughn has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.8apg in 20 games.

Rene Rougeau (6'6''-F/G-86, graduated '09, plays pro in Finland) contributed to Kauhajoki's victory against one of league's weakest teams Lapuan Korikobrat 83-74 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. He recorded 14 points and had 4 steals in 29 minutes. Rougeau has relatively good stats this season 14.9ppg, 6.6rpg, 3.3apg, 1.5bpg and 2.0spg.

#8. Stephen Zimmerman (7'0''-F-96, graduated '16, plays in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Westchester Knicks (14-6) in their last game.
