Here is the weekly review of the top performing Minutemen alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Stephane Lasme (6'8''-F/C-82, graduated '07, plays pro in Greece) contributed to Panathinaikos' victory against the fifth-ranked PAOK (4-3) 93-83 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. He scored 8 points and blocked 3 blocks in 16 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (8-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all eight games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Lasme averages 6.9ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0bpg in eight games he played so far.

   #2. Trey Davis (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '16, plays in Poland) could not help MKS Dabrowa Gornicza in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the league leader MKS Dabrowa Gornicza was badly defeated 101-81 on the road by the lower-ranked Anwil (#5). Davis was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists. It's Davis' first season with the team. Davis has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.8ppg, 3.6rpg and 5.8apg.

   #3. Cady Lalanne (6'10''-C-92, graduated '15, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Zaragoza (6-6) crushing them 94-73 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. He scored 7 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 24 minutes. BAXI Manresa (7-5) is placed sixth in the Liga Endesa. It's Lalanne's first season with the team. This year Lalanne averages 9.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.1bpg in 12 games.

   #4. Jabarie Hinds (5'11''-PG-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Poland) was not able to help Miasto Szkla Krosno (2-8) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Miasto Szkla Krosno was badly defeated 85-68 in Radom by the higher-ranked Rosa (#11). Hinds was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 5 passes. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Hinds' first year with the team. This season Hinds has very high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.5apg and 1.8spg.

   #5. Tony Gaffney (6'9''-PF-84, graduated '09, plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Happy Casa BR (5-5) in their game against Umana Venezia (8-2) in the Italian Serie A. He recorded 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 26 minutes. Happy Casa BR lost 59-70 in Venezia to the second-ranked Umana. It was Happy Casa BR's fourth consecutive loss in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Gaffney's first year with the team. This season Gaffney averages 4.3ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.9apg in 10 games.

   #6. Brandon Thomas (6'6''-G/F-84, graduated '07, currently in Germany), who plays in the German BBL couldn't help Giessen 46ers (6-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Thomas' good performance Giessen 46ers was defeated 95-90 at home by the higher-ranked BBC Bayreuth (#5). He scored 10 points. Thomas has relatively good stats this season 14.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.1apg.

   #7. Raphiael Putney (6'10''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Sioux Falls Skyforce (12-7) in their last game. Despite Putney's very good performance the Sioux Falls Skyforce (#2) lost 119-124 in Los Angeles to the South Bay Lakers. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. Putney has very impressive stats this year 15.4ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.6apg, 2.1bpg and 1.1spg in 18 games.

   #8. Maxie Esho (6'9''-F/C-91, graduated '15, plays in Indonesia) couldn't help CLS Knights (3-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance CLS Knights was defeated 88-80 on their home court in Surabaya by the lower-ranked SM Beermen (#7). Esho was the top scorer with 30 points. He also added 8 rebounds. This season Esho has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.6apg, 2.1bpg and 1.1spg. Esho is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #9. C.J. Anderson (6'6''-G-96, graduated '18, currently in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Erie Bay Hawks in their game against the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League. Anderson cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 24 minutes. His team were edged 101-100 in the NBA G League. This year Anderson averages 3.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.1apg in 15 games.

   #10. Sampson Carter (6'8''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Canada) couldn't help the Island Storm (2-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Carter's very good performance the Island Storm (#4) was defeated 123-116 in St. John's by the second-ranked Edge. He recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 10 rebounds. This season Carter averages 3.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.1apg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
