We bring you last week's top former Hokies players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Deron Washington (6'7''-F/G-85, graduated '08, plays pro in Italy) led his Italian team Umana Reyer Venezia to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Hapoel Holon (6-3) 70-69 in the Basketball Champions League last Tuesday. He was MVP of the game. Washington scored 20 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 26 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Umana Reyer Venezia (6-3) is placed second in the Basketball Champions League. Washington has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg in four games he played so far.

   #2. Erick Green (6'3''-PG-91, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) led Fenerbahce Istanbul to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Afyon Bld (1-10) crushing them 92-68 in the Turkish BSL on Saturday night. Green scored 13 points. Fenerbahce Istanbul (10-0) is placed first in the BSL. So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Green averages 9.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Jarell Eddie (6'7''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in France) led SIG Strasbourg to a victory over the tenth-ranked Chalon/Saor (7-7) 90-81 in the French ProA in Monday night's game. Eddie was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 31 minutes. SIG Strasbourg (9-4) is placed second in the ProA. Eddie has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.2apg in five games.

   #4. Malcolm Delaney (6'3''-G-89, graduated '11, plays pro in China) could not help Guangdong Southern Tigers (20-1) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Delaney's very good performance the league leader Guangdong Southern Tigers were defeated 105-96 on the road by the much lower-ranked Jilin Tigers (#12). He was the second best scorer with 25 points. Delaney also added 7 rebounds. It's Delaney's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Delaney averages 20.4ppg, 5.1rpg, 5.1apg and 2.1spg.

   #5. Zach LeDay (6'7''-C/F-94, graduated '17, plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Gran Canaria (5-9) crushing them 98-77 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. LeDay scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in a mere 17 minutes. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (9-5) is placed fifth in the Euroleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's LeDay's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.7ppg and 4.2rpg in 13 games.

   #6. Zabian Dowdell (6'3''-PG-84, graduated '07, currently in France), who plays in the French ProA was not able to help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (10-4) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket was defeated 91-84 in Villeurbanne by the lower-ranked ASVEL Lyon- Basket (#9). Dowdell was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 5 assists. Dowdell has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 4.0apg.

   #7. Justin Bibbs (6'5''-G-96, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Maine Red Claws (5-12) in their last game. Despite Bibbs' very good performance the Maine Red Claws (#5) lost 94-106 in Oshkosh to the Wisconsin Herd. He was the top scorer with 22 points in 37 minutes. This year Bibbs averages 9.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.7apg in 17 games.

   #8. Robert Krabbendam (7'0''-C-86, graduated '07, plays in Holland) couldn't help Rotterdam in their game against Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie. He recorded 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was edged 79-77. This season Krabbendam averages 4.5ppg and 4.7rpg.

   #9. Jeff Allen (6'7''-C/F-87, graduated '11, currently in Israel) contributed to Hap.Haifa's victory against the 11th-ranked Ironi Ashkelon 101-90 in the Israeli National League (second division) in Tuesday night's game. He scored 13 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 27 minutes. Allen has very impressive stats this year 18.6ppg, 11.4rpg, 2.3apg and 2.3spg in 10 games.
