Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Xavier Cooks (6'8''-G/F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in a s.Oliver Wuerzburg's victory against the third-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (1-1) 96-87 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 16 rebounds in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Cooks' first season in pro basketball. s.Oliver Wuerzburg (2-0) is placed first in group I. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Cooks' first year with the team. This season he averages 9.8ppg, 5.6rpg and 2.3apg in eight games he played so far.

   #2. Andre Jones (6'5''-G-90, graduated '12, plays in Italy) led Termoforgia JE to a victory against the eighth-ranked A.Costa IM (6-6) 113-107 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. Jones scored 26 points (!!!), had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). Termoforgia Aurora Jesi (4-8) is placed 15th in East group. It's Jones' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Jones averages 19.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized Slovakian.

   #3. Keon Moore (6'5''-G/F-92, graduated '15, currently in Switzerland) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Lakers (5-6) 98-83 in the Swiss SBL on Sunday night. He scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. SAM Basket Massagno (8-2) is placed first in the SBL. Moore has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.6spg in 11 games.

   #4. Michael Jenkins (6'4''-SG-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Kazakhstan) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Kalev/Cramo (4-6) crushing them 105-78 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. Jenkins scored 14 points and added 6 assists. BK Astana (6-3) is placed fourth in the VTB United League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Jenkins has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. George Valentine (6'8''-F/C-88, graduated '12, plays in Argentina) contributed to Hindu's victory against the sixth-ranked Sportivo America (4-12) 84-75 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) last Thursday. Valentine scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. Hindu Club de Resistencia Chaco (10-6) is placed third in North - North group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Valentine averages 5.7ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.1bpg in 15 games.
