Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Monarchs players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Kent Bazemore (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Atlanta Hawks (7-23) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Atlanta Hawks (7-23) were badly defeated 144-127 on the road by the Brooklyn Nets. Bazemore recorded 20 points, 7 assists and 3 steals (made all of his five free throws) in 32 minutes. It was Hawks' third consecutive loss in a row. It's Bazemore's fifth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Bazemore averages 13.2ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.7apg and 1.7spg in 30 games he played so far.

#2. Franklin Hassell (6'9''-F/C-88, graduated '11, plays in France) led Cholet Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked JSF Nanterre (8-5) 98-92 in the French ProA on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Hassell recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 11 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Cholet Basket (14-0) is placed first in the ProA. So far his team won all fourteen games in the Regular Season. This season Hassell has very high stats. He averages 15.1ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.3apg.

#3. Gerald Lee (6'10''-C-87, graduated '10, currently in Israel) was the major contributor in an Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona's victory against the leader Balkan (2-0) crushing them 100-73 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. He scored 16 points in a mere 18 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group J. Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (1-1) is placed second. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Lee's first season with the team. Lee has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg in 10 games. He is a naturalized Finn.

#4. Chris Cooper (6'9''-C/F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the leader Craiova (8-2) crushing them 107-82 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. He recorded 12 points. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. BC CSU Sibiu (7-2) is placed second. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Cooper averages 7.4ppg and 5.1rpg.

#5. Experienced Alexander Loughton (6'9''-F/C-83, graduated '06, plays in Australia) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Cairns Taipans in their game against New Zealand Breakers (5-8) in the Australian NBL. Loughton scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 18 minutes. The bottom-ranked Cairns Taipans lost 78-89 in Auckland to the one of league's weakest teams (#7) New Zealand Breakers.
