We bring you last week's top former Bulldogs players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Trey Thompkins (6'10''-PF-90, graduated '11, plays pro in Spain) led his Spanish team Real Madrid to a victory over the seventh-ranked FC Barcelona (7-7) crushing them 92-65 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Thompkins scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 21 minutes. Real Madrid (11-2) is placed second in the Euroleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Thompkins' fourth season with the team. This year he averages 8.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.2apg in six games he played so far.

   #2. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (6'5''-G-93, graduated '13, plays in the NBA) could not help the Los Angeles Lakers (18-13) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Los Angeles Lakers (18-13) were badly defeated 128-110 on the road by the Washington Wizards. Caldwell-Pope was the top scorer with 25 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Caldwell-Pope has relatively good stats this season 9.1ppg and 2.5rpg.

   #3. Nemanja Djurisic (6'8''-PF-92, graduated '15, currently in Belgium) was the main contributor in Oostende's surprising victory against the league leader Virtus Bologna (7-2) 77-76 in the Basketball Champions League in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Djurisic scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. Filou Oostende (4-5) is placed seventh in the Basketball Champions League. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Djurisic has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.3apg in nine games.

   #4. Travis Leslie (6'4''-G-90, graduated '11, plays pro in France) was the major contributor in a Boulazac Basket Dordogne's victory against the 16th-ranked Olympique Antibes (2-11) 91-79 in the French ProA last Friday. He recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Boulazac Basket Dordogne (7-6) is placed ninth in the ProA. This season Leslie averages 9.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.6apg.

   #5. Dustin Ware (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays in Hungary) contributed to a ZTE KK's victory against the closely-ranked PVSK-Veolia (7-4) 92-83 in the Hungarian A Division on Wednesday night. Ware scored 15 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 35 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Zalakeramia-ZTE KK (7-4) is placed third in the A Division. Ware has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.4ppg, 2.6rpg and 5.5apg in 11 games.

   #6. Terrance Woodbury (6'7''-G-87, graduated '09, currently in Japan), who plays in the Japanese B2 League was not able to help Kagawa FA (6-17) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Woodbury's very good performance the sixth-placed Kagawa FA were defeated 69-64 in Shimane by the higher-ranked Magic (#3) in the West group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 16 rebounds. Woodbury also added 5 assists and 3 steals (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). This season Woodbury has very high stats. He averages 23.0ppg, 7.8rpg, 5.1apg and 1.2spg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #7. John Florveus (6'11''-C-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Slovakia) was not able to secure a victory for Nova Ves (6-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Nova Ves was crushed 105-66 in Bratislava by the leading Inter. Florveus had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 31 minutes. Florveus has relatively good stats this year 13.5ppg, 8.6rpg and 2.4bpg in eight games. He is a naturalized Haitian.

   #8. Juwan Parker (6'4''-G-94, graduated '18, plays in Germany) couldn't help Nuernberg in their game against Uni Baskets in the German ProA (second division). He scored 6 points. His team was defeated 77-69. This season Parker averages 6.0ppg and 1.5apg.
