We bring you last week's top former Tar Heels players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kennedy Meeks (6'10''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Japan) could not help SeaHorses Mikawa (12-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed SeaHorses Mikawa (12-12) lost 100-107 on the road to the second-ranked Kyoto Hannaryz in the Central group. Meeks had a triple-double by scoring 37 points, grabbing 20 rebounds and passing 10 assists in 50 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Meeks has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.0ppg, 13.5rpg, 6.3apg, 1.2bpg and 1.5spg in six games he played so far.

   #2. Reggie Bullock (6'7''-G-91, graduated '13, plays in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Detroit Pistons' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (14-17) 129-123 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He recorded 33 points (!!!). The Detroit Pistons have 15-14 record this season. It's Bullock's fourth year with the team. This year Bullock has very high stats. He averages 12.1ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.2apg.

   #3. Harrison Barnes (6'8''-F-92, graduated '12, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Dallas Mavericks (15-15) in their last game. Despite Barnes' very good performance the Dallas Mavericks (15-15) lost 118-126 in Denver to the Nuggets. He was the top scorer with 30 points. Barnes also added 4 rebounds in 34 minutes. Barnes has very impressive stats this year 18.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.1apg in 25 games.

   #4. Experienced Tyler Hansbrough (6'9''-F-85, graduated '09, plays pro in China) was not able to secure a victory for Zhejiang Chouzhou (8-13) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Zhejiang Chouzhou was defeated 111-107 in Shenzhen by the much higher-ranked Leopards (#5). Hansbrough recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 19 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. This season Hansbrough has very high stats. He averages 21.0ppg, 10.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.5spg.

   #5. Danny Green (6'6''-G/F-87, graduated '09, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Toronto Raptors (24-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Toronto Raptors (24-9) lost 122-128 in Portland to the Trail Blazers. Green had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 36 minutes. Green has relatively good stats this year 9.7ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.3apg in 33 games.

   #6. Marvin Williams (6'9''-F-86, graduated '05, currently in the NBA) led Charlotte Hornets to a victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-99 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. Williams has relatively good stats this season 9.2ppg and 5.5rpg.

   #7. JP Tokoto (6'6''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Galil Gilboa 88-70 in the Israeli Winner League last Monday. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 12 rebounds. Tokoto also added and 3 steals in 26 minutes. Tokoto has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg in 10 games. He is a naturalized Cameroonian.

   #8. Reyshawn Terry (6'8''-F-84, graduated '07, plays in South Korea) led Anyang KGC to a victory over the league outsider Samsung Thunders crushing them 101-78 in the South Korean KBL on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Terry recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 13 rebounds. This season Terry has very high stats. He averages 23.5ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.8apg, 2.0bpg and 1.3spg.

   #9. Justin Knox (6'9''-F-89, graduated '11, currently in Italy) was the main contributor in an Alma TR's surprising victory against the fifth-ranked Sidigas AV crushing them 110-64 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Knox was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points in a mere 16 minutes. Knox has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg and 4.3rpg in seven games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #10. Ed Davis (6'10''-F-89, graduated '10, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Atlanta Hawks 144-127 in the NBA last Sunday. Davis recorded 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. This season Davis averages 5.7ppg and 8.2rpg.
