We bring you last week's top former Mountaineers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Devin Ebanks (6'9''-F-89, graduated '10, plays pro in France) could not help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (10-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket lost 84-91 on the road to the lower-ranked (#9) ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Ebanks was the top scorer with 32 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 43 minutes. It was Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket's first loss after four consecutive victories. Ebanks has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.2ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in 12 games he played so far.

   #2. Da'Sean Butler (6'7''-F-88, graduated '10, plays in Israel) was not able to help Hapoel Jerusalem (6-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Hapoel Jerusalem was defeated 91-78 in Tel-Aviv by the leading Maccabi T-A. Butler recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It's Butler's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.5ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.4spg.

   #3. Gary Browne (6'1''-G-93, graduated '15, currently in Israel) was the major contributor in an Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona's surprising victory against the second-ranked Hapoel Holon (7-3) 88-78 in the Israeli Winner League in Saturday night's game. He recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 32 minutes. Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (4-6) is placed eighth in the Winner League. It's Browne's first season with the team. Browne has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 6.9rpg and 5.2apg in nine games. He is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #4. Joe Alexander (6'8''-C/F-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Turkey) led his Turkish team Besiktas to a victory against the closely-ranked Neptunas (4-5) 77-70 in the Basketball Champions League last Tuesday. He scored 11 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (4-5) is placed fifth in the Basketball Champions League. This season Alexander averages 6.4ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.5apg. He is a naturalized Israeli.

   #5. Experienced D'Or Fischer (6'11''-C-81, graduated '05, plays in Japan) led Shiga L-Stars to a victory over the fifth-ranked Fukuoka Rizing (5-19) 78-70 in the Japanese B League on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Fischer had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 14 rebounds in 34 minutes. Shiga Lakestars (5-19) are placed sixth in West group. Fischer has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 11.3rpg and 3.0apg in 24 games. He is a naturalized Israeli.

   #6. Jevon Carter (6'2''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Memphis Grizzlies in their game against the Houston Rockets in the NBA. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game He scored 11 points. This season Carter averages 5.3ppg and 1.3rpg.

   #7. Teyvon Myers (6'2''-G-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Sweden) was the main contributor in a KFUM Jamtland Basket's victory against the league outsider Uppsala Basket crushing them 107-59 in the Swedish Basketligan last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Myers recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 22 minutes. Myers has very impressive stats this year 15.1ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.7apg in 18 games.

   #8. Daxter Miles Jr. (6'3''-G-96, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Northern Arizona Suns in their game against the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League. Despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game Miles Jr. was the top scorer with 22 points. Miles Jr. has relatively good stats this season 11.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg.

   #9. Juwan Staten (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in Finland) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Lapuan Korikobrat crushing them 104-81 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Friday night's game. He scored 18 points, made 6 passes and 4 steals in 32 minutes. Staten has very impressive stats this year 16.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.6apg and 1.1spg in seven games.

   #10. Darryl Bryant (6'1''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Georgia) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams BC Rustavi 1991 in their game against Kutaisi in the Georgian Superleague. Despite his very good performance in Friday night's game Bryant was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added made 6 passes and 3 steals. This season Bryant has very high stats. He averages 23.5ppg, 4.5apg and 2.5spg.
