Bree
Horrocks
Bree Horrocks (6'5''-C-95) has landed at Vanderbilt after announcing she's transferring from the Purdue women's basketball program. Horrocks made the announcement Tuesday night to join former Boilermaker All-American Stephanie White's program. Later, the 6-foot-5 Georgia native tweeted that she committed Monday night but didn't want the social media notifications to distract her from studying for final exams. Horrocks is the second post player to join Vanderbilt's program. Boston College's Mariella Fasoula, who led the Eagles in scoring and rebounding last season. As a graduate transfer, Horrocks can play next season and has two years of eligibility reaming. She played the first two games last season before undergoing surgery in December on her dislocated knee cap and severed ligament, an injury sustained in September. In February, Horrocks underwent surgery on her hip, an injury related to her knee. She appeared in 61 games the last three seasons. In 2015-16, Horrocks averaged 4.4 points and 2.9 rebounds.
