Burak Eslik
I remember very first time i watched Burak Eslik (193-G) in Synergy. It was summer of 2014. One year later, after impressive performance in Lewis & Clark with 15.6 ppg average, he moved from JUCO to NCAA; Edwardsville.

I am happy to have witnessed his transition from good shooter to complete scorer. Nowadays, Burak finished his NCAA career and ready to fight in professional level. He averaged 13.4 pts, 2.9 rebs and 1.7 ass in his senior season. 'Burak will have a long career overseas. He is a tireless worker that really invests in his development.' Head coach of SUI Edwardsville Jon Harris who describes Burak as 'a fiery competitor that plays with a scorer's mentality' said. Jon Harris also talked about offensive ability of Burak Eslik. He said 'Burak Eslik is at his best attacking the rim - managed to shoot 6 free throws per game (83%). He is also a very capable 3pt shooter. He puts pressure on opposing defenses because he stays in attack mode and is always a threat to score'

Burak Eslik will not be the first Turkish player in NCAA who seeks overseas pro career. He will try to follow footsteps of Sinan Guler (192-SG-83, college: Carroll, MT, agency: 1x1 Sports), Deniz Kilicli (206-F-90, college: W.Virginia), Dogus Balbay (185-G-89, college: Texas), Engin Atsur (190-G-84, college: N.Carolina St., agency: BeoBasket) who have good careers in Turkey after four years in the USA. He gave exclusive interview to Eurobasket.com

"BASKETBALL IS ONLY THING IN MY MIND"
I came to the United States when i turned 18 years old and no matter what i went through here it definitely made me mentally stronger and more mature. I also became way better player because i came here with only one thing in my mind and that was "basketball". All i have been doing beside school is working on my game. Knowing the reason i am in the United States and my goals in the future give me so much motivation to make me better and mentally strong basketball player.

"I HAVE LEARNED A LOT FROM LOSING"
People usually say good things about my stats but i am never satisfied because i know my real potential. My problem was mental beggining of the season and i fixed that problem beggining of the January and since then i have averaged 20 points per game until end of the season. Being a leader in a loosing team is mentally very tough but i believe everything happens for a reason. I have learned a lot this season and also become better person and basketball player. Most importantly me and my teammates never gave up and always found motivation in every practice to get back up. It is hard to beat someone who never gives up and thats what we did no matter what team record was showing.

"MY GOAL S TO PLAY FOR TURKISH NATIONAL TEAM"
Wherever i go i want to be a leader on and off the court. I will prove myself and be the best version of Burak Eslik everyday i step on the court. For personal goal I want to have a great season, play in the Turkish National Team and my main personal professional goal is to go to the NBA. This is something will never change for me.

"I AM VERY AGRESSIVE WITH THE BALL AND READ THE DEFENSE"
My strongest weapon is that i am very aggressive with the ball and my confidence. I can read my defense and if i need to attack to basket i can do that. I can also shoot the ball good.If my defender hands down i can and will shoot the ball from anywhere on the court.

"I AM WORKING ON MY SHOOTING EVERYDAY"
I know how good shooter i am and i am working to reach my best ability to shoot the ball everyday. Every team we played against, they know and try to take away my shooting because they know i can make it from anywhere no matter what is the percentage.

RJ Barrett leads No. 1 Duke past No. 4 Virginia 72-70 - 9 hours ago
No. 1 Duke and fourth-ranked Virginia kept trading baskets - and the lead - down the stretch of another classic at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Here's the difference: The Blue Devils had R.J. Barrett Jr. (6'7''-F-00), Zion Williamson (6'7''-F-00) and a defense that -even without key on-the-ball defender Tre Jones- flipped the script on the Cavaliers. R.J. Barrett Jr. scored 30 points, Williamson had 27 and Duke gave Virginia its first loss of the season by beating the Cavaliers 72-70 on Saturd...   [read more]
