Amid COVID-19 Concerns, WAC Cancels 2020 Hercules Tires Basketball Tournaments - Mar 13, 2020

In an announcement made Thursday morning by the Western Athletic Conference, the 2020 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournaments presented by TicketSmarter have been canceled.

The decision was settled upon by the WAC Board of Directors and was made based upon new information, including the recommendation of the NCAA's COVID-19 advisory panel. Per the WAC Code, the league's automatic qualifiers to the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments will be the regular season champions.
For the Aggies, this means they will receive an automatic berth to the 2020 NCAA Tournament. On the women's side, Kansas City will represent the WAC.
