Juan Patillo (6'8''-F-88, college: W.Kentucky) scored 22 points and Ryan Anderson (6'4''-G-87, college: Nebraska) 20 as the Windsor Express edged the Cape Breton Highlanders 107-103 in NBL Canada action in Sydney on Sunday. DeAndre Thomas (6'8''-C-86, college: Robert Morris) added 19 and Tyrrel Tate (6'5''-F-92, college: Fayetteville St.) 18 for the Express. Bruce Massey (6'3''-G-90, college: Middle Tenn.St.) poured in 26 for the Highlanders while Chris Johnson (6'5''-G/F-88, college: St.Bonaventure) added 21, Aaron Redpath (6'4''-G-92, college: McMaster) 15 and Deshaunt Walker (5'11''-PG-91, college: SF Austin) and George Williams 10 each. The Highlanders return to action Friday when they host the London Lightning at Centre 200.

The Windsor Express showed Wednesday that the club might be a little deeper overall than people think. The Halifax Hurricanes blew into Charlottetown and left the Island Storm in their wake. Saint John Riptide (NBL Canada) signed 26-year old American forward Jon Harris (201-98kg-92, college: Cleveland State, agency: Interperformances). He just played at NINERS Chemnitz in German ProA. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Harris' team was regular season runner-up in Horizon League in 2014.
