Windsor Express (NBL Canada) tabbed naturalized Bahamian forward Robert Nortmann (205-104kg, college: Dalhousie) from Island Storm. But in 23 NBL Canada games he averaged just 2.0ppg and 1.6rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Nortmann also played that season for Francavilla Fontana (Serie C Silver) in Italy.
He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.

COREY ALLMOND Moncton Magic (NBL Canada) re-signed 30-year old American guard Corey Allmond (188-82kg-88, college: Sam Houston State). He played there last season. In 48 NBL Canada games he recorded 14.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.7apg. Allmond helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NBL Canada Atlantic Division. In 27 games he averaged 8.0ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.4apg in 2016-17 season. Thomas received NJCAA D1 All-Region XVIII 2nd Team award back in 2015 at his college time. So his pro career will start in Canada.
