LANCE DRUMMONDS

Guard Lance Drummonds (188-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Grizzlies, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 5.
The player had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while his team The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Grizzlies was forced-out from the top positions in NBBL NBBL. They are still close to the very top. But there are still few teams in the league, which Grizzlies can lose the games to. Now they are 4-1 and hopefully next round will be better. Drummonds just recently signed at Grizzlies, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former St. Clair College star has very solid stats this year. Drummonds is in league's top in points (8th best: 14.4ppg), rebounds (9th best: 6.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.4spg and 64.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Nathan Samuel (183-PG) of 519ers. Samuel had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as 519ers lost that game 54-61 to slightly higher-ranked Space Jam (#3, 3-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. 519ers still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Samuel is one of the most experienced players at 519ers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.6ppg (#1). He also registered 4.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Nathan McCarthy (203-C/F) of league's top team Spurs. McCarthy scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Spurs, leading his team to a 81-60 easy win against #2 ranked Grizzlies. Spurs confirms their top position in the standings. McCarthy has a great season in NBB. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.2ppg (4th best), rebounds with 11.8rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 2.6apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
