Brady Heslip
First, let me thank to Brady Heslip (188-G-90, college: Baylor) for your time that you spend on doing this interview.

Q: You come from Canada, let's close our readers a little bit you're first steps in basketball. You played at Baylor U. in NCAA? How was that experience of playing in NCAA?
A: I actually played at New Hampton School before NCAA. My NCAA experience was amazing at Baylor. We had a lot of success in my three years of playing in there. We went to the Elite-8, the Sweet-16, and an NIT Championship. College basketball in USA is a great experience and basketball is diffidently on high level.

Q: You are one of the best shooter in Europe right now, do you have some secret? Are you staying on training and shooting by yourself. That's Reggie Miller was doing and he said that was improved his percentage for 3p a lot. Do you have some secret training process (ha-ha) ?
A: No secret, just a lot of hard work and getting shots up after practice and before practice everyday.

Q: After playing at Baylor you come back to your home country and played for Blessed Sacrement Nation at NBBL, you are the first scorer of the league with 32.7 points per game, how can you describe that season for you individually and for your team? That was some amazing stats.
A: The NBBL is a great Summer League in Canada it is more just for fun.

Q: Is there any particular reason why Minnesota didn't keep in their roster for this season?
A: had a great experience spending the pre-season with Minnesota but I think that it was just bad timing and them having too many guaranteed roster spots made it difficult for me to make the team.

Q: How come that you end up in Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing in Igokea? Can you describe us maybe flow of negotiation. Is your agent suggest that will be good for your career to play in Adriatic league this season?
A: I was playing in the NBA-DLeague for the Reno Bighorns and I just wanted to take the next step in my career and come overseas. I had the opportunity for Igokea to pay my buyout and come play for them right away so I took the opportunity to play in a great league in the Adratic and it has been an amazing experience so far.

Q: Your experience playing in D-League?
A: My experience was good. I think that I learned a lot about how to be a professional there and handle adversity. It was great for my confidence as well. There are some very good players in the NBA-DLeague but it is a grind.

Q: What do you think about Igokea as team, club, people in Aleksandrovac?
A: I love my team, I have great team-mates and a great coach and everybody within the club has been first class. The people in Aleksandrovac have been amazing to me so far and I love it here.

Q: Your opinion about Adriatic league?
A: The Adratic league is a very tough physical league with many great teams and great players. It is a good starting point for my career to learn more about the European game and get adjusted to things over here.

Q: You played five games for now and immateriality you started contribution team with great games, a lot of points and great percentage from the field? Did you fit in the team faster then you think?
A: Yeah. I think I fit in well. My team-mates are all very unselfish players and they have high basketball IQ. It makes it easy to play with them. Along with that my coach gave me a great opportunity right away to make an impact.

Q: Your opinion of Zeljko Lukajic, coach of Igokea?
A: I love coach lukajic he has been teaching me a lot of things and helping me improve my game everyday.

Q: You win first title in Igokea, winning the Cup and you are named as MVP. Did you have some special feeling?
A: It was a great feeling to win this Cup title with this time. It was great experience.

Q: What do you think about the food in Aleksandrovac, do you have some favourite food already?
A: I love the food here. I have a few places that I eat at a lot but I couldn't tell you the name of the food or the restaurant ha-ha.

Q: What are you next plans, you have contract with Igokea until the end of season, what then? Do you have some big plans, NBA maybe or you will stay in Europe?
A: Right now just taking it one day at a time. I will figure all that out after the season. My focus now is winning games and then to win the Bosnian Championship with Igokea.

Now we are going to quick questions so people on Balkan area can know you a litlle bit more as a person, not only as basketball player (ha-ha).

Q: Favorite food?
A: Jerk chicken

Q: Favorite color?
A: Red

Q: If I'm right your father played also basketball really good?
