Ricky Council IV

The Brooklyn Nets signed 24-year-old 6-5 guard Ricky Council IV from Arkansas for the upcoming season. He previously played for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The majority of last season he spent with the 76ers where in 73 NBA Summer League games he averaged 7.3ppg, 2.9rpg, and 1.3apg. He also played for Blue Coats earlier that season.
The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is a contract between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA). It outlines the rules and regulations that govern the relationship between the league and its players. The CBA is negotiated between the two parties and is typically in effect for a set number of years. The most recent CBA was ratified in 2017 and will remain in place until at least 2024. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2023, and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Council also played for Wichita State University for 2 years.
