The Toronto Raptors have signed Makur Maker, a 22-year-old Australian-Kenyan power forward who stands at 7 feet tall. Maker previously played for Howard College and most recently for the 76ers/53028" class="btn btn-small pull-left pop-right tooltipstered" data-trigger="hover" data-toggle="popover" data-content="" id="team53028">Philadelphia 76ers in the USA League. In the three NBA Summer League games he played, he averaged 5.7 points per game and 4.3 rpg last season. Maker also had a stint with the 76ers earlier in the same season.
He's never been drafted by the NBA.
He has also played professionally in Australia for the Kings, as well as for other NBA G League teams like the Capital City Go-Go, and other NBA Summer League teams such as the Chicago Bulls.
He won the Australian NBL championship title in 2022.
He graduated from Howard University in 2021, and this will be his third season in professional basketball.
