The Rockets cut Isaiah Hartenstein

Houston Rockets (NBA) cut 22-year old German power forward Isaiah Hartenstein (211-113kg-98). In 23 NBA games he averaged 4.7ppg and 3.9rpg. He also played for the Rockets that season where in 14 NBA games he was second best scorer with impressive 24.9ppg and recorded 14.8rpg (leader !!!) and 4.1apg. The other team Hartenstein played that season for was Valley Vipers. In 14 NBA-G-League games he was second best scorer with remarkable 24.9ppg and had 14.8rpg (leader !!!), 4.2apg, 1.4spg and 1.1bpg.
Three years ago he was drafted by the Rockets in second round (43rd overall).
Hartenstein was also a member of German international program for some years. He played for German Senior National Team between 2017 and 2018 and previously for U18 National Team between 2015 and 2016.
Hartenstein also represented Germany at the European Championships three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 4.3ppg, 2.5rpg.
Hartenstein has played previously professionally in Lithuania (Zalgiris) and Germany (Artland Dragons, Quakenbrueck and Young Dragons).
Among many awards Hartenstein won NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2019. He received also USBasket.com All-NBA G League 2nd Team award in 2019.
