JAKARR SAMPSON

Chicago Bulls landed 25-year old forward JaKarr Sampson (206-97kg-93, college: St.John's). It is actually his comeback to the Bulls as he has played here before. Sampson already started the season at Windy City Bulls. In 6 NBA G League games he averaged impressive 21.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.3apg this season. Sampson also spent pre-season at the Bulls earlier that year. He was also tried-out by the Kings.
Sampson has never been drafted by the NBA. He won NBA G League Soutwest Division championship title.
Sampson was selected to D-League All-Star Game in 2017.
He has played previously for three other teams: Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers and Delaware Blue Coats.
Sampson attended St. John's University until 2014 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is described as: A long, athletic, slashing scorer ... a noted shot-blocker and prolific offensive and defensive rebounder.

Portland centre Jusuf Nurkic suffers horrifying broken leg against Brooklyn - 9 hours ago
First it was Paul George (6'9''-G/F-90, college: Fresno St.), then Gordon Hayward (6'8''-G/F-90, college: Butler) and now another NBA superstar has gone down with a horrifying broken leg. This time it is Portland Trail Blazers centre Jusuf Nurkic (7'0''-C-94), whose leg buckled and snapped as he came down from attempting to make an offensive rebound in the second period of overtime in Portland's 148-144 win over the Brooklyn Nets. With Portland leading 134-132 Mo Harkless missed a bucket...   [read more]
