Joakim Noah
JOAKIM NOAH

Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) added to their roster 33-year old French ex-international power forward Joakim Noah (211-105kg-85, college: Florida).
In 2007 he was drafted by Chicago Bulls in first round (9th overall). The former University of Florida standoutis in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Noah was voted All-NBA Defensive Player of the Year back in 2014.
He also represented France at the European Championships in Lithuania seven years ago. Noah's team won Silver and his stats at that event were 10 games: 9.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.2apg, FGP: 43.2%, FT: 81.3%.
Noah is a very experienced player.
The scouts decsribe him following way: (by Matthew Maurer for NBADraft.net in 2007)
Extremely long, fluid/mobile player who runs the court like a guard For his size, Noahs is a surprisingly solid ball handler. This becomes evident when he gets the ball in the high post and dribbles past his man for a lay-up. High energy player who plays games with great passion and intensity. Great lateral quickness which enables him to be an excellent help defender when the perimeter defense breaks down.
Despite being a solid shot blocker, he bites on pump fakes far too easy and lacks timing. Picks up careless fouls due to his high energy level as he gets a little to aggressive

Paul George
George scores 33 to help Thunder top Clippers 110-104 - 6 hours ago
Paul George (6'9''-G/F-90, college: Fresno St.) rendered the Los Angeles Clippers' traps and double-teams useless. Oklahoma City's forward shredded the Clippers for 33 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a 110-104 victory on Saturday night. "I'm fine being trapped," George said. "That's where we're going to need our guys the most - for them to make plays out of it. Honestly, I think that's the easiest way for me to get myself going because I make those plays early. And we burn them,...   [read more]

Wizards, Suns revive trade sending Trevor Ariza to Washington - 17 hours ago
After a three-team trade crumbled in spectacular fashion hours earlier, the Washington Wizards resurrected a deal to acquire Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza (6'8''-F-85, college: UCLA), league sources told ESPN. The Wizards are sending forward Kelly Oubre (6'7''-G/F-95, college: Kansas) Jr. and guard Austin Rivers (6'4''-G-92, college: Duke) to the Suns in the deal, league sources said.
