JORDAN CRAWFORD

ALBA Berlin (BBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American guard Jordan Crawford (193-89kg-88, college: Xavier). He already started the season at New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. The last season Crawford played also at the Pelicans in NBA where in 8 games he recorded 6.8ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.9apg. Crawford helped them to make it to the conference semifinals.
In 2010 he was drafted by New Jersey Nets (NBA) in first round (27th overall). The former Xavier University staris in his ninth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he played in the final of D-League in 2015. Crawford received also Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA 2nd Team award in 2016.
He has played also professionally in NBA (Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards), China (Xinjiang Flying Tige) and NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Grand Rapids Drive).
The scouts decsribe him following way: (by Jonathan Wasserman for NBADraft.net in 2010)
At 6'4, he uses a nice first step plus excellent elevation on his jumper to allow him to create shots for himself on almost any possession ... He is excellent in isolation, can shoot with hands in his face while barely needing an inch to get off his shot ... His midrange and long range game have both become quite efficient, showing he can shoot off the dribble from inside and behind the arch ... When spotting up, he looks much more under control and his motion tends to be more fluent. Often fades away on his shot instead of going up straight ... He gets frustrated when his defender face-guards him and tries to deny him the ball

Nets' Joe Harris shocks Warriors' Stephen Curry for 3-point title - 12 hours ago
Stephen Curry (6'3''-PG-88, college: Davidson)'s storybook 3-point contest dream ended Saturday night at the hands of Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Joe Harris (6'6''-G-91, college: Virginia). Harris, who came into the weekend shooting a career-high 50.1 percent from 3-point land, stunned a capacity crowd in Curry's hometown of Charlotte, by knocking down 26 points in the final round, beating Curry's score of 24. "Obviously it's incredible," Harris said. "Steph is the greatest shooter of all...   [read more]

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (6'8''-F-98, college: Duke) guaranteed a victory in Saturday night's NBA Skills Challenge competition during NBA All-Star Weekend media day on Saturday morning. As confident as he was, he sure made it as dramatic as possible. He came from behind to dispatch Kyle Kuzma (6'9''-F-95, college: Utah) and Nikola Jokic (6'10''-C-95, agency: BeoBasket) to make the final round. But to beat Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young, he needed a little something extra. Youn...   [read more]
