Derrick Rose
It's a nice story about D-Rose scoring 50 but lets keep a few things in mind. Lots of players have hit 50 including Sharif Abdur Rahim, Willie Burton, Dana Barros, Tony Delk, Kelly Tripucka and most interestingly Brandon Roy. After the game Rose said that most players would have quit if they went through what he's gone through. Lets look at that, two routine knee surgeries doesn't even make the list. Look at players like Amare Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady, Anfrenee Hardaway to name just a few. Here in Minnesota we had Brandon Roy who also scored 50 in a game once and was on his way to an all time great career until a series of knee injuries derailed his career. His knees were soo bad one was bone on bone, no cartledge was left in the knee at all. Rose had a knee surgery, refused to return after the injury and then played like a shell of his former self and suffered a second minor knee injury. Derrick Rose lived a sheltered life and had never had to overcome a serious injury and his response to that was childish and immature, he threw away an MVP career because mentally he couldn't deal with it. It's bs guys like Brandon Roy, Micheal Jordan or Kobe Bryant late in their career are battling bad knees and leg injuries and Rose is as fast as he has ever been, almost as explosive and claims most other players would have quit. Its insulting to guys grinding out careers and guys like Brandon Roy who had a hall of fame career taken from him. Spare me the self inflicted pity party. Rose was blessed with excellent physical skills but lacking the mental makeup to ever reach his potential. It's been 8 years since Rose was his MVP self and the only thing stopping his return to that level was his own mental weakness in overcoming obstacles. Derrick Rose wants to feel sorry for himself for what might have been needs to only look in the mirror. Derrick Rose (6'3''-G-88, college: Memphis)

Buddy Hield
Hield helps Kings hold off Westbrook, Thunder 117-113 - 10 hours ago
The Kings sprinted out to a big lead and used their up-and-down style to put Oklahoma City on its heels. Then they got a big lift from Buddy Hield (6'4''-G-93, college: Oklahoma)'s perimeter shooting to finish off the Thunder. Dave Joerger also got a bit of love from the Golden1 Center crowd after reports surfaced over the weekend that the Sacramento coach was at odds with management over the direction of the team. Hield made three consecutive 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter and sco...   [read more]

Walker stays hot, scores 43 as Hornets upend Celtics 117-112 - 10 hours ago
Kemba Walker (6'1''-PG-90, college: Connecticut) scored 43 points, giving him 103 in his last two games, and the Charlotte Hornets battled back to beat the Boston Celtics 117-112 on Monday night. Walker followed up his NBA season-best 60-point effort in an overtime loss to the 76ers on Saturday night with another spectacular performance, scoring 21 in the fourth quarter and making 14 of 25 shots, including seven more 3-pointers. Jordan Crawford is a newcomer at ALBA Berlin - 1 day ago
JORDAN CRAWFORD ALBA Berlin (BBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American guard Jordan Crawford (193-89kg-88, college: Xavier). He already started the season at New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. The last season Crawford played also at the Pelicans in NBA where in 8 games he recorded 6.8ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.9apg.
