The Rockets took control in the closing minutes after players threw punches, leading to three ejections, to defeat the Lakers 124-115. James Harden (6'5''-SG-89, college: Arizona St.) made a three-pointer with 1:12 left to give Houston a 120-113 lead. Kyle Kuzma made a driving layup, but Harden answered it with one of his own to make it 122-115. After Josh Hart missed a layup, Eric Gordon sealed the deal with a layup 19 seconds left to provide the final margin. LeBron James finished with 24 points, five rebounds and five assists while Javale McGee (7'0''-C-88, college: Nevada) had 16 points, six rebounds and five blocked shot. Lonzo Ball (6'6''-G-97, college: UCLA, agency: Slash Sports) made four three-points to finish with 14 points and six rebounds. Harden had a game-high 36 points on 10 of 19 shooting, making 5 of 10 from long range and 11 of 15 free throws. He had 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Chris Paul (6'0''-PG-85, college: Wake Forest) finished with 28 points on 9 of 17 shooting while making 7 of 9 free throws and 10 assists. Clint Capela (6'10''-F/C-94) contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds.
