Orlando Magic agreed terms with 25-year old forward John Petrucelli (193-86kg-92, college: Molloy). He played last summer at Team Detroit. The last season Petrucelli played at Magic where in 44 NBA G League games he had 8.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Southeast Division.
Petrucelli has never been drafted by the NBA. But in 2014 Bakersfield Jam selected him in eighth round (119th overall) in the D-League draft.
He attended Molloy College (NCAA Div.II) and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Petrucelli was voted All-ECC Player of the Year and All-ECC 1st Team back in 2011, 2013 and 2014 at his college time.
Petrucelli has played previously professionally in Slovakia (Iskra Svit) and other NBA G League teams (Erie Bay Hawks and Maine Red Claws).
