Jeff Green
JEFF GREEN

Washington Wizards strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old forward Jeff Green (206-107kg-86, college: Georgetown). He played most recently at Cleveland Cavaliers. In 100 NBA games he recorded 10.2ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg last season.
The previous (16-17) season Green played at the Magic where in 69 NBA games he averaged 9.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2apg.
In 2007 Boston Celtics selected him as fifth overall pick in NBA draft. Green attended Georgetown University and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He was selected to NBA All-Star Game All-Sophmore Team back in 2009.
Green has played previously for three other teams: LA Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies.
The scouts decsribe him following way: (by Matthew Maurer for NBADraft.net in 2007)
Versatile player whos all around ability creates mismatches for opposing teams. Above average passer with great court vision to recognize open teammates. Very good ball handler for his size. Defensively Green does a excellent job defending players on the perimeter. With his size and length he is capable of guarding a multitude of positions on the floor.
Struggles to consistently create for himself off the dribble where his moves remain undeveloped. Has a tendency to force passes that arent there leading to turnovers
