The Nuggets keep Craig for another season - Jul 11, 2018

TORREY CRAIG

Denver Nuggets (NBA) re-signed 27-year old forward Torrey Craig (198-98kg-90, college: USC Upstate). He played there last season. In 39 NBA games he averaged 4.2ppg and 3.3rpg. Craig helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in G League Midwest Division.
The previous (2017) summer he played at Rollers in Australian QBL where in 10 games he had very impressive stats: 28.2ppg, 9.9rpg, 4.0apg, 1.5spg and 1.0bpg in 2017 season. He can count that year as a very successful as was selected to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL 2nd Team, All-Imports TeamLeague Player of the Week.
Craig has never been drafted by the NBA.
Among other achievements he received Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Player of the Year award and Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Import Player of the Year award back in 2015.
Craig has played previously professionally in Australia (Bullets and Cairns Taipans) and New Zealand (Saints).
He attended South Carolina Upstate until 2014 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
