R.J. Hunter
Houston Rockets (NBA) agreed terms with 25-year old guard R.J. Hunter (198-84kg-93, college: Georgia State). He started the season at Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In 25 NBA G League games he had very impressive stats: 19.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.6apg and 1.7spg this season. The last season Hunter played at another team Long Island Nets where in 24 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.0ppg, 2.1rpg, 3.0apg and 1.0spg. He helped them to make it to the final.
Three years ago Hunter was drafted by Boston Celtics in first round (28th overall). The former Georgia State standoutis in his third season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won Sun Belt Tournament in 2015. Hunter was also voted All-Sun Belt Player of the Year and NABC All-District 24 1st Team back in 2015.
He has played previously for three other NBA teams: Chicago Bulls, Maine Red Claws and Windy City Bulls.
On Hunter: Versatile shooting guard with tremendous range and very good ball handling skills. .. Has very good leaping ability and has shown the ability to defend players at multiple positions.
