New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) landed 22-year old power forward Cliff Alexander (206-107kg-95, college: Kansas). He played most recently at Long Island Nets. In 18 NBA G League games he averaged impressive 20.6ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.8apg last season. Alexander also played that season for another team Erie Bay Hawks where in 22 games he had 11.9ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.2bpg.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
Alexander's team won Big 12 Regular Season in 2015.
He represented USA at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships four years ago.
Alexander has played previously for three other NBA teams: Portland Trail Blazers, Orlando Magic and Santa Cruz Warriors.
He attended University of Kansas until 2015 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
Alexander is described as: A low-post scoring presence who can anchor the rebounding effort but won't be much of a threat, at least initially, anywhere except the block.
